IIT Gandhinagar MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2024
MTech is a two-year course offered at IIT Gandhinagar in eight specialisations. Some of these specialisations include, MTech in Computer Science and Engineering, MTech in Civil Engineering, MTech in Mechanical Engineering, etc. Besides MTech, the institute also offers Work & Study MTech programmes in the same eight specialisations. Work and Study MTech is a three-year course. Admission to both MTech and Work & Study MTech is based on the GATE scores. Candidates without a GATE score can appear for a written test conducted by the institute followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round for final admission. Yes, GATE 2023 exam dates (which will be valid for admission to the academic year 2024-25) have been announced. IISc Bangalore will conduct the GATE exam on February 3, 4, 10, and 11. The GATE application form will release on Aug 24 on the official website at gate.iisc.ac.in. The organising institute for GATE is IISc Bangalore. The exam will be conducted online as a computer-based test for 29 papers. Students will be required to solve 65 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours). The GATE syllabus is based on General Aptitude and Core Discipline, carrying a weightage of 15% and 85% respectively.
