According to the NIRF report 2025 released, the median package offered during IIT Jammu placements 2024 for BTech and MTech programs stood at INR 11.69 LPA and INR 9.15 LPA, respectively.
Earlier, IIT Jammu concluded the placements for the Class of 2024 with a 70.8% placement rate. Over 175 recruiters participated in the placement process and offered new-age job roles with handsome packages. The highest and average package offered during IIT Jammu placements in 2024 stood at INR 53 LPA and INR 15.5 LPA, respectively.

IIT Jammu Placement Overview 2024
IIT Jammu placement rate recorded in 2024 was 70.8%. More than 175 recruiters participated in last year. The highest and average package offered during the placement drive in 2024 was INR 53 LPA and INR 15.5 LPA. 68.1% placements was recorded for BTech and 78.6% for the MTech batch 2024. The highest package offered to the BTech students stood at INR 52 LPA. This package was offered to the students of the CSE branch. BTech CSE average package offered in 2024 was INR 19 LPA.
Earlier, 85% placement rate was recorded in 2023. 224 offers were made and 129 companies visited the campus. The highest and average package offered in 2023 was INR 53 LPA and INR 17 LPA.
