The life at IIT Kanpur was the best time of my life.

Placements: Three out of ten got placed in campus placements, this number might sound meagre for you but this is at par with the condition of HWRE in other IITs. Two of the remaining got placed in HPCL and IOCL through GATE. The highest salary offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is 7.85 LPA. There were more than 700 companies that visited the campus, majority of them were also open to M.Tech and nearly more than 150 companies had the scenario of WALK-IN, so it is impossible to enlist them all. Core engineering, data analytics, management and various other roles were offered by these companies. The student placement office in IITK is run and managed by a team of office staffs and students and handles all aspects of placements right from contacting companies their stay arrangements conducting tests, pre placement talks and final interviews. The hospitality and functioning of SPO is well known and applauded.

Infrastructure: Normally Wi-Fi net speed is 1Mbps but sometimes it can reach much greater than this. Its uninterrupted connectivity throughout your stay. Classrooms are equipped with modern visual aids, ACs, sound system etc. Some are even big enough to accommodate up to 350 students. The library is marvelous and each week hundreds of new book add to its beauty. The health centre is there to provide medical facilities round the clock, free of cost. When we talk of sports it is much more than can be imagined, name a sports and it’s here.

Faculty: Here the professors are most wise, cherish and generous person you will ever meet in your life. Words are less to express them. Quality of teaching is awesome. Along with the board work, projectors, videos, field exposure are all used in conjunction.
