To seek admission to the BTech programme offered at IIT Madras, candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main. No—if you scored 44 when the cutoff is 45 in JEE Main, you would not qualify for JEE Advanced. Without qualifying JEE Advanced, admission to Indian Institute of Technology Madras is not possible, since IITs admit students only through that route.
