IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech. 

So, considering the previous year Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks, candidates seeking admission to IIIT Allahabad must secure a rank over and above 4800 and 9600 for the General ALL India category candidates.

For the General AI quota, the IIT Ropar CSE cutoff 2025 ranged between 2357 and 2512. For IIT Patna, the cutoff range was between 3215 and 3377. So, considering the cutoff range, the IIT Ropar cutoff for CSE was comparatively more competitive for admission among the Engineering aspirants as compared to that of IIT Patna and IIT Mandi, as they have relaxed cutoffs for BTech admission.

Candidates willing to get admission to various courses must apply online on the official website of the college. The modes of IIT Ropar course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on the entrance exam followed by the counselling rounds. The entrance exams accepted for selection are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, and IIT JAM. 

Those candidates who are aiming for admission to ECE at IIT Ropar cannot avail this course as it was not offered in 2024. However, under the acquired rank of 7000, candidates can opt for Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering Physics, and Chemical Engineering programs.
