IIT ISM Dhanbad College Review.

Placements: A high percentage of placements are available in my course. The lowest and highest packages from top companies range from 3 LPA to 16 LPA. Top recruiting companies are interested in this course. The percentage of internships in this course is 80% in top companies like Wipro and Railways.

Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges in the city. Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. Our classrooms are very clean. The library has good books. We have clean washrooms. The hostel does not have good facilities. The food is the worst. Sports are good.

Faculty: The faculty is very qualified but not helpful. They do not provide the required knowledge to the students. The curriculum contains very old technologies, and the semester exams are not difficult. The situation is such that teachers do not cover the right portions and include different topics in the exams. The checking is not thorough, leading to difficulties for students during exams.

The overall review is that college life is very good and fantastic.

Placements: The overall placements are around 65% to 70%. The lowest package is around 6 LPA. The highest is around 25 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA - 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Naraina, Allen, Virtusa, Axtiria, PW, PhonePe, etc. There are mainly three fields for placements like Ed-tech, data science, and SDE.

Infrastructure: IIT Dhanbad offers 393 acres of campus. All the hostels are well maintained. They provide proper hygiene and cleaning. The food quality is also good which is provided in the hostel mess. The menu gets changed every month according to season. Security is also maintained for students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. If you need any help you can talk to them in class or after the class. The course curriculum is very good and related to placements and for those who want to pursue higher studies. The course is a little bit difficult but you can perform good in exam if you study regularly.

Other: I am interested in exploring and learning about computer science. The course offers a perfect combination of mathematics and computing knowledge which is needed very much now-a-days. The course is a little bit difficult, and these difficulties should be removed.

It is the best for placements, studies, and sports.

Placements: There was a good and active placement cell. They had an organized cell maintained by senior students and faculty. Around 40% of students got their placements easily, with an average package of 4 LPA. Mainly, new startups recruited from there. Students could also participate in the internships offered by the college.

Infrastructure: The quality of the hostel was brilliant for me, with good quality mess and food. They had a clean and organized environment for students on the campus. Classrooms were of average size and had ACs. They had a huge ground and a library as well. Wi-Fi was available there with good speed.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified. This course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready because of regular discussions based on case studies. They also teach practically more for the enhancement of skills. The semester exam was difficult to pass, and students had to study around the course.

The best place to create memories with a career.

Placements: The placement record for our branch is decent, with 52% of students placed last year. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the average package was around 8-9 LPA. Some companies that recruit from our course include Axtria, Virtusa, and Turning. Internship opportunities are limited for our course, but you can opt for off-campus internship opportunities. Top roles like SDE and Data Scientist are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs, and Asia's second-largest library are all quite good. All the facilities are provided for our course, including wi-fi access all around the campus and good hostel facilities. However, the mess food is not good at all, and you will get bored with it after a few days. There is a health center on campus, and for sports, there are two outdoor grounds and an indoor ground, as well as a gym.

Faculty: The faculty are highly qualified, and many of them are from prestigious foreign universities. Some professors are very strict and follow the course structure rigidly. Overall, the coursework is good but not very challenging. There are two exams and two quizzes each semester, and the grades are based on relative grading. The pass percentage is quite good, and you would have to do very poorly to fail.

Other: I chose Mathematics and Computing because of the placement opportunities it offers. The best thing about my course is that it allows me to pursue a career in the IT field. I really enjoyed my campus life at IIT Dhanbad. The campus is wide and full of greenery, and I had a great experience studying there.

Placements: In our college, around 50% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 23 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Placements: Indian Institute of Technology provided good placements in recent years. A lot of companies visit our college for placements. Students get very decent salary packages. Very reputed and MNCs also come here for placing the students.

Infrastructure: The college has a double sharing system. Hostels are well-maintained. The size of the room is good. The food served in a mess is bad. The institute has well-maintained sports playgrounds. It has a separate football ground, cricket playgrounds, and swimming pools.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Well-known personalities are teaching there. The R and D profile of this institute is very high and prestigious. Teachers are very helpful and are always eager to help us. Semester exams are average.
