With BSc degree you are eligible for majority of non technical posts in Government (Central, State, PSU, Banks etc) where eligibility criterion is graduation degree. Beside this you may able to get job of technician, lab assistant in Scientific R&D organisation. You are also eligible to do BEd and take school teacher job. In order to have better career growth you will have to do post graduation.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate along with English as one of the subjects can apply for BSc at JIPMER Puducherry. SC/ST/OBC candidates need 40% aggregate to be eligible, whereas 45% aggregate is required for PwD category candidates) to apply for the course.

JIPMER Puducherry admit candidates to its BSc courses on the basis of merit in the NEET exam. Some of the seats are reserved for the students who are residents of Pondicherry. The selection criteria vary from one course to another. While some courses like MBBS require valid scores in NEET-UG and other courses like BSc and MSc, the institute conducts its entrance exam. For admission to the flagship MBBS programme, candidates have to appear for the NEET-UG exam. Candidates having valid scores/ rank in NEET-UG can then apply through the JIPMER Puducherry official website followed by the counselling round conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

Yes, JIPMER provides the National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST Students, which was formerly known as the Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education for ST students. This scholarship is available for students belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category who are pursuing their higher education at the undergraduate (UG) or postgraduate (PG) level in professional courses such as MBBS, MD, BSc, and Certificate, among others.

Yes, the student can get into JIPMER with 75% in 10th and 80% in 12th. JIPMER accepts NEET UG scores for MBBS admission, and doesn't consider 10th and 12th scores if the NEET UG is qualified. However, students need to qualify the eligibility criteria for NEET UG, before filling of the NEET UG examination form. The NEET UG eligibility in respect of 10th and 12th marks is different for different categories of candidates. The Minimum aggregate in the qualifying examination (PCB) is 50 percent for the General category, 45 percent for General PWD and 40 percent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Reserved-PWD.
