Tuition: The B.Sc. programs offered by JIPMER have a total tuition charge of INR 4,800, according to their website. All specializations, including the B.Sc. in Nursing, the B.Sc. in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, and the B.Sc. in Cardiac Laboratory Technology, appear to charge the same basic rate.

Additional Expenses: But there are additional costs to take into account:

Admission cost: There may be a INR 5,650 one-time admission cost.

The qualifying exam should have been passed with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC; 45% aggregate for PwD category candidates). Moreover, the applicants age at the time of admission should be at least 17 years, or candidate must turn 17 on or before December 31 of the year of admission. There is not upper age limit.

With BSc degree you are eligible for majority of non technical posts in Government (Central, State, PSU, Banks etc) where eligibility criterion is graduation degree. Beside this you may able to get job of technician, lab assistant in Scientific R&D organisation. You are also eligible to do BEd and take school teacher job. In order to have better career growth you will have to do post graduation.

JIPMER, Pondicherry offers twelve courses in its M.Sc program. The admission is made on the basis of marks secured in entrance exams. The entrance exams accepted for admission to M.Sc at JIPMER, Pondicherry are JIPMER Nursing and JIPMER PG. Other than these, JIPMER admission to MD/ MS courses is based on INI CET scores. INI CET 2024 Counselling is ongoing for the January Session for admission to MD/ MS courses at JIPMER. 

To apply for MD admission at JIPMER Puducherry, candidates must have a valid score in INI CET (conducted by AIIMS Delhi) online. Further, they must visit the institute's official website and submit a duly filled application form online and all the required documents. The steps that can be followed for online form filling are:

JIPMER Puducherry admit candidates to its BSc courses on the basis of merit in the NEET exam. Some of the seats are reserved for the students who are residents of Pondicherry.
