Lakshmibai College, Delhi University review.
Placements: The placement rates in college are not that good. The average package is around 6 to 7 LPA which is very average considering other colleges of Delhi University. The on campus placements are not that good thats why students go for higher education or do something of their own. There are active placement cell though but it is not that effective.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty decent and there are new buildings as well with good Wi-Fi facilities and labs. My departments lab is also very good with Wi-Fi and machines. The washrooms are not that clean though and there is still no auditorium in the college.
Faculty: The faculty is extremely qualified and highly knowledgeable. There are teachers who are very approachable especially the ones in my department but some focus entirely on theory. Curriculum is completed on time and exams level also matches what is taught in the class. The education quality is good in Lakshmibai.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in both fashion design and philosophy. It is a skill based course and not merely theoretical. I think the department is not fully effective with fewer opportunities and exposure, teachers mainly focus on the theory part. College has an active student crowd with active clubs and annual fests and seminars also provide excellent exposure. I am myself a member of women development cell.
