B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.2
Average college life, events, and fest are too less, and the placement is above average.
Placements: 70% of students are placed in the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. TCS, LEKTIK, CAVLII, etc., are the recruiting companies. Students secured internships at Kerala Digital, IITs, NITs, etc. The highest package offered to ECE students at Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) is around 45 LPA, while the lowest package is around 6 LPA, and the median package is approximately 3.75 LPA.
Infrastructure: The department provides excellent infrastructure to support learning and practical applications. The classrooms are equipped with projectors for interactive sessions. The library is well-stocked with books. The hostel facilities are average, and the mess provides average food.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but they do not take classes well, and I don't understand the topics. Only 1 or 2 subjects taught are understandable, and others are not understandable. Most of the students self-study. I think that the curriculum needs to be changed, more practical applications and projects are needed rather than the theory part. Students need hardware exposure, only then can they understand the topics.
Other: I like Math and Physics, so I chose B.Tech. The more application-wise curriculum must be added. We are studying the theory, and most of the students don't really get the concept. They just by heart all these things. More projects need to be added. Fests and events are less here.

Good placement and faculty members.
Placements: I'm a student of the electronics and communication engineering branch. The highest package was about 9 LPA and about 80% of students were placed Top companies like Amazon, EY, and Cognizant visit our college I would say this is a good college that focuses on studies.
Infrastructure: We have a not-so-big campus. We have almost all the facilities like Wi-Fi, canteens, cafe, etc. Our hostel is located about 200 meters away from the campus. Hostel facilities are also average and it is well-maintained. Hostel managers always monitor the students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly. They are all well-qualified. Their teaching qualities are very good and their friendliness inspires us to listen to their classes. Semester exams are average difficult and the question papers are put by KTU It does make the students industry-ready.

College has good faculty. Programmes are very rare and more like a school life.
Placements: Around 78% of students from my course were placed this year from my college. The highest package was 26 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average package was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Keltron, MRF, and Tata. Around 80% of students got internships in various industries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the hostel and the college is average. The campus is not that big. However, the facilities are great, with well-equipped machines and equipment. The hostel is good and well-maintained, and the food is edible, as you would expect from hostel food.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. They guide you very well. They follow proper time and they are well scheduled They are teaching based on KTU timetable and special hours are required to complete the whole portions Overall, they all are very motivating and friendly.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor faculty and low placements.
Placements: As of now, only four of my ECE seniors have been placed. And now, no more than 3–5 companies are coming for placements. And also, the package they are giving is very low compared to previous years, and the time when I joined the college, they gave promises for a minimum of four companies.
Infrastructure: Actually, the college was meant to be a hospital. So the infrastructure of the college is like that of a hospital. Which was very comfortable for me. And in my opinion, I only like the college library and washrooms, except that even the classrooms are sophisticated.
Faculty: Educated faculty, but not educated in humanity. I am saying this because none of the faculty is friendly with students, and they exhibit sadistic behavior because they find happiness by giving work, loads, pressure, deadlines, internals, etc. to students.

A good private college in Kerala.
Placements: The average package the college offers is around 4 to 6 lpa, and the highest package was around 15 lpa. Core companies are usually smaller but offer higher packages. The main recruiters are TCS and Infosys. The placement cell provides every assistance you need.
Infrastructure: Hostels are neat and Wi-Fi is available. The library is okay—not too big—and ample books are available. The food is strictly Kerala food and it changes every month. There are all the sports facilities available in college, including a state-of-the-art volleyball court.
Faculty: KTU is one of the worst curriculum in India and is difficult to survive. But if you do your part and do extra activities, you can handle it very easily. The teachers are experienced and well-versed in teaching. They are real teachers, not lecturers. Overall, it's average.

Absolutely excellent because of the academics, placements and other activities.
Placements: Almost 90% students get placed in top companies every year. The highest packages is 9lpa and the lowest is 3.5 LPA this year. TCS, Cognizant, Thoughtworks, IBM, SOTI etc. are the companies that come to the college. Some companies offer internships with stipends. Placement training is provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in the campus is excellent. The college Wi-Fi is available all the time. Wi-Fi is available in the hostel too. The lab facilities are also good. There is a department library and other library is also available for reference and studying. The hostel is very clean and healthy food is provided in it. Also emergency vehicle is there for any medical emergency.
Faculty: The teachers in the department are very friendly and helpful towards the students. Faculty members are available all the time. All the teachers are well knowledgeable in their specialisations. The pass percentage of the college is more than 75. Teachers help us to solve previous year’s questions.

Our college has good faculty members, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed this year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro. Recently, Amazon has begun hiring students from our institution for SDE positions.
Infrastructure: Students can use the Wi-Fi connection in our department block. Our department laboratories are more modern and well-equipped than other colleges in Kerala. Classrooms are enormous and have good ventilation. All books and reference materials required for the specified curriculum are available at the library. Hostels are mice and properly kept. The mess and the canteen serve good meals. Our college has a volleyball court, badminton court, a cricket field, and a basketball court that is recently upgraded to international standards. Every Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM, a doctor from Medical College Hospital Kolenchery visits for a consultation. In case of emergencies, an emergency room with a bed and necessary medicines are available.
Faculty: All faculty members have advanced degrees from prestigious institutions like NIT and IIT. Their teaching is of high caliber. In comparison to current employment opportunities, the course curriculum is relevant to reduce skill gaps and preparing students for employment. The institution conducts workshops and training programs. The difficulty of semester exams increases as we go to higher semesters. The pass percentage is 67.59%. Our college is in the second rank amongst the colleges in Kerala.
