Admission to the National Institute of Technology, Calicut courses is done on an entrance basis. Candidates with a BSc or BCA degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics or BE/ BTech with a minimum of 60% aggregate is the basic eligibility for MCA at NIT Calicut. In addition to this, NIMCET scores are required for MCA admission. In addition, the aspirants must also meet the eligibility requirements.
Admission to the two-year MTech courses in NIT Calicut is based on merit in GATE. The GATE application procedure is online, aspirants can apply by visiting the official website (gate.iitk.ac.in). Candidates with scores equal to more than the cutoff marks need to take part in CCMT counselling for the seat allotment process.
No, NIT Calicut does not accept NATA scores for admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) course. The institute offers admission to BArch based on JEE Main paper-II scores only. In addition, for selection it is crucial that the aspirant also meet the eligibility requirements for BArch course, which is Class 12 pass from a recognised board.
