The NIT Delhi GATE CCMT Cutoff has been released for Round 1. The most competitive course was M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. The Cutoff for M.Tech in CSE closed at 680 for the General AI category candidates. The least competitive course for the General AI category candidates was M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (CAD/CAM), with the closing Cutoff score of 396.

For NIT Delhi M.Tech admissions, GATE scores are a must. However, in some instances, NIT Delhi does accept candidates without a valid score in the GATE examination. But this admission procedure can be done if some seats are vacant after GATE -based admissions, some of the vacant seats can be offered to sponsored or part-time students. It must be noted, that to secure these vacant seats at NIT Delhi requires candidates to fulfil certain eligibility criteria i.e., candidates must have a certain period of work experience, a recommendation letter, certain scores in graduation, and might need to qualify for an interview conducted by the institute.
