Satisfied with infrastructure and facilities provided by the college.

Placements: Almost 70 percent of the students are placed in this course but in different categories, the highest package is noted to be around 42 LPA and average is 8 LPA, top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, and SAP visited our campus to hire the students, and at last of this course 80 percent of the students receive internship offers, may provide stipend or may not.

Infrastructure: Recently we are shifted to new NIT Patna, it is very beautiful and bigger than the old NIT, old NIT was around 50 acres where the new one is around 120 acres, they provide Wi-Fi facility 24/7 and all labs and library are running with air conditioning, food quality was good but somewhat difficult for south students, but we can manage.

Faculty: The curriculum in college is good, professors are very knowledgeable and highly educated, they are very helpful to implement our ideas in any type of project, difficulty of exams vary with year and faculty, grades are running followed by relative grading, and if we want good grade, we have to be top in our class.

Other: It is not a normal college that we can get an easy admission in, it is not top NIT or least NIT, it is in the middle, but inside of the college all are good, and for those belonging to SC, ST, and lower-income students they get full scholarship for their tuition fees, they only pay for living in the college.

Placements: This year, only about 40 percent of students are placed in our branch. The highest package is around 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Infosys, TCS, and other software companies, as there are no jobs in the core field. Almost only 20 percent of students get internships. The top roles offered are software engineer, structural engineer, site engineer, and environment engineer.

Infrastructure: I live in the hostel named Brahmapur Hostel of the National Institute of Technology, Patna. This is one of the largest boys’ hostels in NIT Patna, and yesterday there is a special dinner. There are three boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. The total capacity is around 1,400 students. Some hostels have poor basic facilities. The Wi-Fi is very slow due to the large number of users. The library is well-equipped, but the classrooms are a bit old. The mess food is unacceptable.

Faculty: Teachers in the department are invaluable to students, but teachers from other departments, like the Physics department, do not seem well-qualified. Students have to prepare on their own. The course curriculum is very relevant and focuses only on courses that help with placements. There are two mid-term exams and one end-semester exam in each semester.

Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I assume that other students take admission in NIT Patna.

College is good in academics, but it lacks facilities, such as a dedicated football ground.

Placements: The highest UG placement is 40-41 LPA. Approximately 80 percent of students get placed according to the professors. The average package is 10 LPA. The minimum is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, Bosch, Samsung, Accenture, and others. Internship-to-job conversion is not guaranteed at this college. To get a better job, students maintain a good CGPA and develop their skills.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are poor and old. The Wi-Fi is good but limited for social media and other apps. Washrooms and hostels are decent. Mess food is good. Medical facilities are poor, and students have to buy medicines from outside. The sports ground and gym are small. The canteen is good. The library is good, but still requires manual work. Labs, especially the CS lab, are excellent.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Most teachers have Ph.D. degrees from IITs and top colleges. They are knowledgeable and supportive. Teaching quality is 5/5. The course makes students industry-ready. Placement staff also helps students. Mid-semester exams are okay, but end-semester exams are difficult. The minimum pass percentage is around 35.

Other: I chose this course through JOSSA counselling because no other options were available. The best thing about this course is the placements and skill training. I aim to improve my communication skills and become industry-ready throughout the five-year course. Events are few, and clubs are limited, so students may get bored. Scholarship staff are helpful. Extracurricular activities are decent.

Great infrastructure and good college environment.

Placements: 80% of students were placed in my course last year. The highest package in my course is 18 LPA, the lowest package is 6.5 LPA, and the average package is unknown to me. Top recruiting companies in my course are TCS, Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, HSBC, NTPC, and BHEL, but this will improve day by day. At present, students are less interested in placement, and companies come more for the mechanical department. Placement was good.

Infrastructure: I live in the hostel named Ganga Hostel of the NIT, Patna. The mess structure of NIT Patna is delicious, and yesterday it was a special dinner. There are three boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. The net capacity is around 600 students. Some hostels have poor basic facilities, and the Wi-Fi is very slow due to the large number of users. The library is well-equipped, but the classrooms are a bit old. The medical facilities of NIT Patna are well organised and good. Doctors are available at any time. Also, take care of students' health.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. You will find all types of professors, including supportive, kind, and funny ones, as well as bad ones. The curriculum set is quite good. It includes electrical engineering subjects and core energy courses. Semester exams are of a moderate level, not too easy and not too difficult, unless you do not study.

Other: I think in terms of value for money, as we know that NIIT Patna's new campus is already formed. When I joined the college, it was still in progress. In the first semester upon joining this college, the college charges 54,000, while in the previous year, they charged only 36,000 from our seniors who joined in their first year at NIT Patna. But yes, we're happy our new campus is ready. The crowd and campus life of NIT Patna are quite good. There are festivals at NIT Patna, including Parakram, Corona, and Milanje, eccentrica.

Our college is very good and has good infrastructure.

Placements: In our batch, 75–80 percent of students get placed through the campus recruitment process. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is nearly 4–5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Nearly 60% of students also secure internships in reputed companies, mainly in IT, Manufacturing, and Core Engineering sectors. The major job roles offered are Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Software Developer, Site Engineer, Design Engineer, and Analyst.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities. Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable. The departments have well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, project and seminar halls, and a central library with digital access. The campus environment is clean and supportive for academic learning. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with 24/7 water and electricity backup. The mess food quality is average but hygienic. Medical facilities are available on campus. Hostel security is good. The college also promotes physical development with sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They guide and teach students effectively. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are neither very tough nor very easy. If we study hard, exams are easy. Overall, the exam system is good.

Other: I chose because I am interested in it. The best thing is that I had a good interest since my school days. So it is very suitable for me.

Placements: After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Texas Instruments, Samsung, Accenture, Amazon, Keysight Technologies, Deloitte, L&T Bosch, Teach Mahindra and many more. The highest package for batch 2024 to 25 is 41 LPA offered to a CSE student. The average package offered is 10 LPA. The percentage of students placed here is almost 85 percent. Look for a job after getting the degree. Companies like Google, Amazon and many more come here for internship opportunities for a 2-month or 6-month duration. Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and hostel. Mess food is decent. The course is taught by an experienced faculty member with vast experience and knowledge. The library is filled with all kinds of books you want to look at. The classroom is well structured, air-conditioned, and a projector is available. Sports and extracurricular activities are well distributed. There are many interesting social clubs here. It helps students to develop their whole personality. Hostel rooms are provided with fans, free Wi-Fi, and a water cooler. Meal quality is good. We get both veg and non-veg items.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is okay in my opinion. In our ECE batch, there are 90 students in a single section. There are no such faculty members whom I don't like. Each semester, there will be 2 exams. One is a mid-semester examination, and the other is an end-of-semester examination. Mid sem is an easy one as compared to the end of the semester. There are very few students who fail these exams. The course curriculum is relevant as it covers all the aspects of that particular branch.

Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I suggest that every student take admission in NIT Patna.
