I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost every year, 90% of students get placed from our college. The highest package is 40 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. The top companies that visit the college are Nvidia, Oracle, and many other PSUs. 30% of students get internships in my course.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are so good, every classroom has Smartboards, and there are several labs. There are many libraries in the college, and each hostel is everyone allotted. There is Wi-Fi facilities are given to each hostel. The food quality is also good here.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are mostly NITians and IITians, and they have good experience. Courses are very good here. There is no difficulty for students. All students pass in the semester because of the good study rate.
Other: Various types of events occur in the semester.

The infrastructure is well-maintained, and it is a beautiful college.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 40%. The placement is all over good. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the minimum package is 8 LPA. The top recruiting company for my course is Oracle. Approximately 30% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: For my department, facilities and infrastructure are good. Wi-Fi networks are also provided on the campus which provide a good internet speed. Labs and classrooms are also well-maintained. The food quality is average, but the medical and sports facilities are good and well-maintained.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good for professors, and for the scholars, the teaching quality is average. Many teachers also were teaching as guest faculty in our course, with average teaching. The course curriculum is relevant and it also makes the students industry-ready.

NIT Srinagar review in general.
Placements: Placement rate is not good, many seniors having good CGPA do not get placement. The highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average package is about 12 LPA. Sorry, but top companies don't come here. The percentage of students who got placement is also low.
Infrastructure: In general, teachers are good, but due to lack of facilities and advanced labs, they can't give their best. The library is good enough for studying but is very small. Hostels are not good; in one room, there are 5 boys, and there is total chaos and confusion the whole day. Sports, canteen, and medical care are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but due to lack of facilities and advanced labs, they can't give their 100%. Classes are small, and the course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make us ready for industrial work. Furthermore, exams are too easy.
Other: I think ECE has vast and great scope in the future, which is why I chose ECE as my engineering course. There are many great things related to this course, e.g., it gives us skills about semiconductors, which is the future in general. Labs in this college are not good, so they do not make us skillful.

National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.
Placements: 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. In this ongoing year, many companies like Autodesk, Nvidia, Oracle, Samsung, Tata Steel, etc., visited for placements. The highest offer is from Autodesk, offered to two students, with a CTC of 35.5 LPA. The average package is around 10.48 LPA. Almost 75-80% of students get placed. I plan to get a good placement after my degree.
Infrastructure: In our hostel room, almost every facility is available, like an attached bathroom in the Jhelum Extension hostel, a geyser available for winter, LAN, Wi-Fi, etc. The meal quality is decent, and the menu is also good. The registration process for the hostel is easy, and you can apply at the time of admission. The hostels are affordable. Hostel charges are 16,000, and mess charges are 40,000 annually.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is good. For every 15-20 students, a faculty member is available. Almost all faculty members are very friendly and helpful. I like almost all, but my favorite is Dr. Noor Zaman Khan, whose teaching style is very good, and communication between students and faculty is also excellent. There is not a particular faculty member I don't like. There are two exams per semester: mid and end-term. The exams are decent, and mostly, the questions come from class notes.

Dissatisfied with the core placements.
Placements: The placement percent of our college remains steady at 60-70% but the only problem is that placement takes place in the CSE/IT branch. Core companies for ECE and electrical, etc. don't visit the campus much. Even if they do, only a few used to get placement.
Infrastructure: To be honest, the Wi-Fi facility at our college is average; at some places you can even SEE video at 8K, and many at the campus there is no Wi-Fi. Our library is well-equipped with Wi-Fi. For our ECE department, we don't have a VLSI lab till date and a lot more facilities are missing. The quality of food is good as compared to those served at Kotak Mess. We don't have much to complain about about the food facility; they provide us food 4 times a day and its consumable; they provide us chicken approximately. 3 days a week, medical facilities are below average, not much equipments and sports facilities are good you can play anytime between 6 am and 9 pm at the playground and obviously you can even play at 3 am badminton with your friends but not at the playground.
Faculty: Coming to the most important part, the course curriculum will only make you complete 3 idiots. That's the truth. It will only result in mugging. The teachers are qualified; no problem with that but from 2nd year, the teachers are very strict; they can even make you fail for 1 mark. It makes you industry-ready. You have to do coding to get placement from NIT Srinagar; that's the truth. Almost all students pass the exam. Papers are set up by the concerned faculty itself and they directly come from notes. The main problem starts from the 5th semester onwards, as most of the students get backlogs from the 5th semester in the ECE, electrical department.
Other: I chose this course because I came to know that ECE will have a bright future scope. The best thing about this course is we learn to make microchips and gain knowledge about robotics, which is important in today's AI generation. If there were more facilities like the VLSI design lab and faculty were not very strict, and if we got in-depth core knowledge. Events are held on regular basis, and if you participate, you can get certificates, which improves your resume many outsiders also participate in these events Recently, there was the biggest festival of this year at NIT Srinagar (techvaganza)connectivity is good, the alumni network is strong here, and yes, they provide us with scholarships like NSP and FFP by notifying us students about it. Extracurricular activities are arranged here in the form of events. Many students participate in these events.
