Review about College PSIT.
Placements: More than 90% of students got placed. The highest package for CSE students is 40 Lacs while the average is 3.6 Lacs. The major recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Capgemini for other companies you can apply to off-campus. Our placement season starts in early Feb 2021, Students are provided with placement training as well. Around 70-8-% of students has already placed this year. Students are being placed in companies like TCS, Emphasis, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Mindtree, Deloitte, Nagarro, Amazon and many more.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are quite good. The food provided in the mess is of good quality. Everything is so hygienic. This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, with a large screen TV (which was popular most evenings) Breakfast is good and a real bonus is a 6.30 pm snack, which can range from pizza to some lovingly prepared sandwiches. The hostel is closed off every day between 11 am and 2 pm for cleaning.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and mostly pass out from IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is easy. Professors at PSIT have teaching experience ranging from 4-35 years in their respective fields. The teaching methodology is mostly case-based and fosters parallel thinking from the manager's perspective for all the students. The faculty at PSIT is very approachable, open to feedback and puts in extra efforts to solve student queries.

Review of PSIT - Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology.
Placements: Placements in PSIT are something which gives me immense pleasure as PSIT is one of the highest ranking private institutions in Uttar Pradesh in terms of placements. Around 90% of the students of my batch were placed in MNCs like Infosys, Larsen and Turbo Infotech, IBM etc. Roles offered to the students are associate system engineer, software engineer, analyst and many more. There is a placement cell in the college that actually manages to invite great MNCs to the college.
Infrastructure: PSIT has great infrastructure. Classrooms are air-conditioned. There are various clubs in college, i.e., sports club, dance club etc. There is a proper building known as White Building that has medical facilities, and a private ambulance is also present in the college 24*7. The college has numerous labs for different departments. Although earlier, the canteen was spacious, the new canteen doesn't have that much space. But, kind of food served is of average taste. Being a day scholar, I don't have much idea about the hostel.
Faculty: Every college has different faculty members, and so is PSIT. Some teachers are genuinely very helpful and supportive, but some are strict and rude. In the class, you have to maintain discipline. Otherwise, you'll be directly suspended or punished. Teachers are well educated. Some of them are from IITs too.
Other: Every year, a 2-day fest called Ignitia is held in our college, and that is the only time of your college life when you can showcase your talent. Every year, a celebrity is also invited during this fest. This time, Hardy Sandhu was invited.

PSIT Kanpur. A brief about CS engineering life on the PSIT campus.
Placements: The real fact is that most of the computer science branch students get 90% placements. The top recruiters are Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Artech, etc. They really work hard for placement drives and they have proper classes for quants, reasoning, and verbal. The level of training is a little below than that of CAT.
Infrastructure: It is a fully air-conditioned campus indeed, All classrooms, labs and the library are fully air-conditioned. Even though they say it as a Wi-Fi campus, don't believe it. They will provide Wi-Fi only in the hostel and not anywhere else. There are no power cuts. Every classroom is having a projector and proper comfortable seats.
Faculty: Faculty members are superb and very helpful. They will help you in the classroom as well as personally in their cabin. There are very few faculty members who don't have a proper knowledge and they should be ignored. Overall, you get specialist faculty members for every subject. Don't expect much from the course as it is affiliated to AKTU (UPTU).
Other: This college requires 90% attendance and if you fail to get 90%+, then you will have to pay a fine which is the only thing that is the worst. Don't expect much from the course. But, you will really enjoy here on the campus and you will attend classes regularly.

Attendance issues, which is 90% and very hard to maintain.
Placements: Talking about the placement, it is good. In fact, the highest package gone till now is of 5.5 lakhs per annum. Major companies like Infosys, Mahindra come to this college for placement drives, and Infosys appoints a lot of new engineers. All the branches in this college get placed successfully at various places.
Infrastructure: It is good and well-maintained. It is spread across with a great area, and all the facilities are present whether for the medical purpose or playing purpose, it has a big ground with two football field and also a well-maintained library. The quality of food in the canteen is just perfect, even the hostlers here do not complain about the mess food. Labs are proper with proper equipment required for all the experimental purposes.
Faculty: The faculty is good, some are just perfect for the job, but some faculty are not good. They teach properly but not to the standard of the students that a B.Tech student needs as well. There's no mugging up, and the syllabus will not help in future without gaining that particular knowledge.
Other: This college is very strict on attendance purpose. The minimum criteria required to every student is to maintain 90% throughout the semester, which is a very tough task. As the college is affiliated to AKTU, and it says minimum attendance should be maintained is 75%, but this college premises are further implementing their own made rule on the students, I think which is not good. But, there is no one to understand us.
