PVG COET is a college for students seeking the best in academics.
Placements: The placement here is excellent. Literally, there is a buffet of companies catering to a handful of and best students. There is competition amongst them, but you get selected on your skills at last. Companies such as TCS, Dassault Systems, Mahindra and Mahindra, and many more recruiters come over here.
Infrastructure: The course is directed by SPPU, but the teaching over here is the best. The faculty and the amenities are very good. And the hostel facility is also pretty decent. The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi, but you have to submit your IP address and all. It does have a library which has tons of books.
Faculty: The way of examination is strict, but you will not be required to copy as the teaching quality is the best. The teachers and professors here are Ph.D. degree holders and have good knowledge of their subjects. They also plan factory visits for industrial exposure.
Other: PVG is a hidden gem found in the crowd of colleges in Pune. It stands out because of its academics and it also proves it through its placement too.

Students will have complete satisfaction and overall personality growth on this campus.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from our college is very good even in this COVID-19 pandemic situation also. Almost 50%-60% of the students got placed from the mechanical branch in various companies. The highest salary package offered is almost 17 LPA in YKK Japan, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA to every student who gets placed. Engineer graduate trainee is the role offered during this course.
Infrastructure: There are various facilities on the campus like Wi-Fi and highly equipped labs. There are some smart classrooms also. The library is very good, and almost 100 students can study at a time in the library. The hostel has good facilities, and there are 3 students in every room of the hostel. There are separate hostels for girls also, and there is also an encouraging environment for sports.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and also encourage students to do some work beyond academics. Almost all teachers are post-graduates, and some teachers are PhD holders. The course curriculum is very relevant to the current demand of the industrial area. Internships are also available, which are very helpful for students.

Decent college, placement avg 3-4 LPA, good infrastructure, worst food quality.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a BE in Mechanical Engineering and expect to graduate in 2025. In my course, placements are yet to happen, so I can share data from the previous year. In the last year, almost 20-25 students were placed from 60 on campus. 10-15 were placed off-campus; the rest were studying for M.Tech.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus, but access is not granted to students. Only faculty have access to it. The hostel quality was below the bar, to be honest, and the rent was 4000 per month. Rooms were very small, and the environment was quite sad. In contrast, the girls' hostel is better than the boys', according to my friends. The limit for hostel students to return is 10 PM. The quality of food is, as usual, the worst; they provided good food only for the first month, then the quality worsened. For sports and games, there is not much scope, but yes, there is a cricket ground and a football court.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good and helpful, but some are quite irritating and cannot teach anything. Attendance for students is completely zero in the case of such teachers. The course curriculum is relevant in terms of SPPU University, but some subjects I think are of no use in my degree or my future work. Exams happen every month; I feel like I've given more exams than I've studied. Semesters are very short, which makes it hard to pass. Almost 10-15 students in my class are YD in different semesters.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in it. This college is overall good; it ranks in the top 5 colleges in Pune. Some changes in faculty and facilities could definitely raise its standards. The college library is something to be praised. It really has lots of books, including relevant ones, and it definitely helps me boost my career.

The college has poor infrastructure, but the teaching quality is good.
Placements: Placements are limited. Nearly students of all branches get placed but not mechanical engineering students. Majority of the placed students are from CSE and IT. The average package offered is nearly 4.2 LPA, the highest package is 15-20 LPA, and the lowest package is 2-3 LPA. Please don't choose mechanical engineering branch from our college if you are looking for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is below average, except the library. Classrooms are okay. I would give zero-rating for the hostel and canteen. They are like from the 18th century. No Wi-Fi facility is available. Most importantly, the library (study hall) is closed at 6.00 pm. The library is well-maintained. No grounds are available for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. Some of the teachers are very experienced while some don't look like teachers. Teaching quality is nice. The course curriculum is irrelevant, and it doesn't make students industry-ready. For mechanical engineering students, the college is not very strict about the present condition, hence, you can prepare for the GATE exam at home.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering course because I want to do Masters in aerospace engineering. If you are looking for campus placements, then please don't take mechanical engineering branch.

I am very satisfied with faculty members and placements provided for our batch.
Placements: Around 60%-80% of the students from our course got jobs. Salary packages offered here are very average, with some exceptions like 18 LPA, but the average salary package offered will be below 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.5 LPA. Companies like Mahindra, Atlas Copco, etc., offer jobs and internships here. Mostly core companies offer jobs in our college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are of very good quality and are maintained in excellent condition. The library is well-equipped with adequate materials and ample sitting area, but the hostels and food served in the mess are the worst part of our college. In our college, the hostel is available only for first-year students. Sports and games facilities should be improved.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and also highly qualified. Their teaching quality is very good, and they put extra efforts for students. They help students with everything when they need. The course curriculum is relevant, and the mechanical course has some fine teachers in this college.
Other: I have chosen the mechanical branch because it is a core branch. I wish that sports facilities should be improved. Fest and cultural events are very well managed and organised here.

A:

PGV's College of Engineering and Technology ranks typically in Tier 2. Established in 1985, it is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, which imparts undergraduate and postgraduate education in the stream, it provides B.Tech and MBA. The placements are quite good, especially for quality education in engineering disciplines, but Tier 1 status is quite a distance away. The college, therefore, focuses on experience-based learning and relationships within the real world, which further attracts students looking for effective grounding in engineering as well as management.

MIT Pune is the second best in Pune for Engineering after COEP. Considering ROI, it's better than VIT and PICT. Placement is excellent and overall growth is there. Curriculum is well designed with lots of extracurricular activities. Best regards.
