About RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), established in 2001 by Dr. R. N. Shetty.
Placements: I am part of the CSE (AIML) engineering batch of 2027. Approximately 95% of students in the CSE (AIML) course from the 2027 batch are successfully placed. The highest package is 45 LPA. The lowest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. Leading companies that recruited from our course included Microsoft, Google, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and various AI/ML startups. Around 80% of students secured internships. Key companies offering internships included Persistent Systems, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and specialized.
Infrastructure: Campus offers reliable Wi-Fi throughout the academic blocks and hostel. Labs are well-equipped with modern instruments, though some classrooms could benefit from better ventilation. Library provides a good collection of resources and comfortable study space. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms, although the mess food, while hygienic, lacks variety. Medical facilities are accessible. There are ample opportunities for sports and games, with well-maintained courts and grounds.
Faculty: Faculty members in this course are generally helpful and knowledgeable, providing clear explanations and support when needed. The teaching quality is good, and instructors are approachable. The course curriculum is highly relevant and effectively prepares students for industry demands, incorporating practical skills and current industry trends. Regarding the semester exams, they are moderately difficult, requiring a solid understanding of the course material. The pass percentage seemed reasonable, reflecting the effort put into studying and the quality of instruction.
Other: College is good for placement and faculty with students.

A well-rounded institute, RNSIT.
Placements: The placements at RNSIT are quite good. Top companies like Adobe, Bosch, TCS, Oracle, Accenture, and Cognizant visit our campus. The highest package is 56 LPA by Adobe. The placements usually begin in the 7th semester, but the mock interviews and training start in the 5th sem.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well-structured with all department blocks, library, food court, temple, and auditorium. The department has well-structured labs with Wi-Fi connection access, even the library has Wi-Fi connection. The hostel also has good facilities.
Faculty: Teaching faculty are very friendly. The course curriculum is also followed as per the university. The pass percentage is 40%, followed by 3 tests. Each test is conducted for 50 marks, and of maximum marks can be scored in the internals.
Other: There are many fests at RNSIT.

College is good with infrastructure and cleanliness. The college faculty is good and strict.
Placements: Good placements are going on. Many good companies also come to our college. The highest this year is 45 LPA. Over 60% of students got placed in the 7th semester, which is quite. There was a good placement percentage in 2024. The average package is around 6-7 LPA. The number of offers made by major recruiters is 50+.
Infrastructure: RNS has the same building infrastructure everywhere in India like hostels, offices, colleges, and schools. Kind of improvement is done in one year. A garden and all are built. Systems are powered with Wi-Fi 500 Mbps and more. Laboratories are well-maintained. The library is beautiful.
Faculty: The college is strict in attendance. All faculty members are good and friendly. Exams are going. We have well-qualified faculty. The college conducts 3 internal exams known as CIE, which occur almost every month with a 20-25 day gap. Dislike is teachers are strict in attendance.
Other: AIML is a present-growing course. I chose the best. Events will be continuously conducted like Algorithm, college fest, ethnic day, etc.

The worst infrastructure but good faculty members with good placements.
Placements: Placements are quite good. Like 50% of students get campus selected. In our course, the highest package is about 40 LPA - 42 LPA. The average package is around 7 LPA - 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Bosch, and many more. Maximum 80% of students got internships from a variety of companies. Most of them got placements off-campus. Top roles offered are AI development team and AI assistant.
Infrastructure: The buildings are so below average that the ceilings are leaking while we are in class. Some of the buildings are still under construction. Library and food court have the best buildings in the college. All buildings are quite old at final. The infrastructure is not good, it may be good for the future buildings.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good at teaching. They are very helpful for our career building and they are very supportive. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant to the company's needs and they make us ready for the companies. Semester exams are quite good. The pass percentage is around 80%.
Other: Most of our seniors got campus selected through an MBA. I chose this course because of my passion. This course has scope in the industry and has more job opportunities as compared to other courses. Events and fests are very frequent in our college. There will be at least one program, one skill development program, or any program that you can outstand with your skills and hackathons every month.

The college has good teachers who are friendly, good infrastructure, and good placement. Totally sat
Placements: I have heard that this college is best for placements. About 90 percent of students get placed every year, but I am still not eligible for it because I am still studying in 2nd year, 3rd semester. The highest package that was received was 50 lakhs, and the average is about 8 to 10 lakhs. Infosys, Accenture, and Microsoft have paved their way as the topmost recruiter companies. 80-90 percent of students got internships in major companies like Accenture and Microsoft as AI specialists or AI engineers.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It has well-constructed libraries with well-equipped and useful books, good connectivity of Wi-Fi, and labs are quite good with well-equipped equipment. The ambience of the college is really cool with all advanced technology and equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with postgraduate degrees. They are helpful, more kind, and clarify our doubts. Semester exams are not that difficult. You can easily score, and you need to maintain 40 percent to pass. They are going to teach topics related to applications of the certain course that we have taken.
Other: I chose it because of the trend in the software field and good scope in future job availability. They need to bring several changes in tertiary subjects. Like, they need to focus more on the course that we have taken. Events are good. Fest organizers are a bit delayed, but they are not going to leave us disappointed at the end. The crowd is a bit huge, but the surroundings are good and pleasant with greenery. There are several clubs that we can join like sports, dance, music, etc.

Good Faculties and College life..
Placements: I am in CSE(AI&ML) branch in which placement percentage is too good. The highest package in my branch is 41.6 LPA by VISA and average is approximately 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are VISA, Texas Instruments, LSEG etc. Many students get PPOS and internship in Nokia of 25k.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my course is really good. Labs are well maintained, wifi connection is provided there and for Machine learning there is a separate system. Classrooms are really good as well as faculties are awesome and they are always available if you have any doubt related to academics.
Faculty: Teachers are really very helpful and well qualified from prestigious universities. Most of the teachers have their PHD degree and they have a deep knowledge in their subject which makes us easy to learn that subject. Semester exams are totally on that how much you are concentrated during lecture. BTW it is easy to crack.
Other: I have chosen this course because I think it is the era of Artificial Intelligence and somewhere I am much more interested in that. Campus life ,fests and extra curricular activities of this college are awesome.

I have heard placement before COVID was very good, but after COVID, it has declined.
Placements: The placements are average. The percentage is about 85 percent. The highest package offered is 50 LPA by Amazon, and the median package is about 4 LPA. The highest placement percentage is seen in the CSE AIML department. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent when compared to North indian colleges since I am from UP. I feel the infrastructure is good, but when compared to top colleges like RVITM, BMSCE, and BMSIT, it's average. However, it's better than JSS Technical Academy, the greenery is pretty good.
Faculty: Almost 80% of faculty are Ph.D. holders, but they are very young, not so experienced. The newly introduced AI teaching is below average, other than that, other subject teaching is decent. The curriculum is slightly outdated, but not so outdated that almost everyone pass.
Other: The crowd is very good since the cut-off is low through KCET. The crowd is very good, but college life is not so good since they conduct fests for the sake of the name, and it happens every 2 years, not even every year.

Overall, it's worth it when you come through KCET.
Placements: The placement percentage might be around 80%. The highest off-campus placement was 50 LPA, and on campus, around 27 LPA. Since I am in my first year, I don't know much about internships. The top recruiters are Infosys and TCS. The highest placements are seen in the AIML department.
Infrastructure: They have a huge campus, but it is not fully built out yet and is still in development. So, the average infrastructure when compared to NHCE, BMSIT, and RVITM. The classrooms are average, and the auditorium is average when compared to other colleges like NHCE, RVITM, and the BMSIT. The library is decent.
Faculty: Faculty are young, not so experienced except for 1-2 teachers, the rest are not so experienced, and their teaching skills are average. In some main departments, like Maths, etc., PSC teaching is very average. Physics faculty members are very good compared to other subjects.
Other: I chose this college through COMEDK, so the fees are high, not worth it through COMEDK, but through KCET, it gives you a good ROI.
