One of the best colleges to build a successful career.

Placements: Our course, data science and engineering is the 1st batch in R.V. College of Engineering. So we are the seniors of this course. I am in the 5th semester, and this course has only one section with 70 students. This course comes under the CSE department itself. As of now, 12 students have already secured internships in companies like Walmart, AVEVA, and Vibrant with a stipend of 6 LPA - 12 LPA. These companies offer roles similar to those provided to computer science students like software intern and software developer.

Infrastructure: Our data science and engineering course has amazing facilities, but right now, a lot of construction work is going on the campus which includes the construction of RV University and the CSE department is also being reconstructed. Due to this, computer labs have been temporarily shifted, causing a bit of convenience. The infrastructure of hostels is amazing with 3 to 4 hostel buildings for both boys and girls. However, the quality of the mess and canteen is slightly below expectations.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. Most of them have done their Ph.D.s and know their courses very well. Their teaching quality is very good. The course offered by our department is very helpful in understanding the depth of the course and make students ready for the industry. Semester exam papers are of high quality. The questions framed are 50% simple and 50% application-based. About 85% of students pass exams.

Absolutely satisfied because of placement facility.

Placements: Overall 98% of students are placed in our course. The highest package offered is 64 Lacs, then average package is about 10-1lakh, the lowest package is 5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies for our course are amazon, microsoft, flipkart, etc. The top roles offered in our course is DATA SCIENTIST then others top roles are data analyst, big data managers etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our classroom is equipped with projector for PPT teaching and modern board ( notepad) is there in our class room. The campus is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi technology for students and faculty's. When it comes to hostel the food they given is good and they serve food 3 times per a day and snacks, milk coffee tea also given. Then library is equipped with huge book source and digital library access facility is also there in our college.

Faculty: All faculty members are very helpful in academic field, and they all are Ph.D. holders. The teaching skill of our teachers is good. The course we are studying is mainly focus on industry related and upcoming technology related. The difficulty level of semester exam is average, the pass percentage is 98%. .

Other: I choose data Science engineering course because I like to play with data and information.
