Poor placements and absolute dissatisfaction.

Placements: No core companies come for recruitment. Only IT based companies recruit people.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay. Resources aren't used much. College doesn't have stationery shop or general store inside. So for everything you need to step out to buy. Canteen facility is okay, cheaper food with moderate quality. Hostel facility is okay (Not much to be expected from an Institute of National Importance). College management doesn't care about students needs.

Faculty: Very less number of faculty members have strong technical background. Course curriculum needs improvement. No Lab facilities are there to make the course interesting.

College is good but need to update in all aspects & need to punish the corrupted .

Placements: Placements are poor due to no companies are interested to recruit master students in core fields. But we can try on our own if we good strength in research & skills. But education at here in college is awesome. Other than core placements we can expect teaching jobs in other institutes if we try on our own.

Infrastructure: Hostels are of great feel in which M.Tech 1 year students get. 2nd year are of bit clumsy. But good to stay without worries. Mess food is good but non-veg is not offered since in respect of Gujarati culture. There is a dispensary in campus, Doctors are available in their scheduled timings. In case emergency they are available on 24/7. Medicine are provided & all students are insured for their medical issues. All other facilities wch we get are of the standards of INI level including Wi-Fi, hostel, library. Labs are in good condition. Classrooms are good but not of international level.

Faculty: Faculty are rich in knowledge, they'll help us in all the ways that they can. Thing depends on that how we are using them & how we are interacting with them & how we are following them. Course curriculum is good but it is going to update. Since students are feeling it as burden with hectic course structure.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with my branch and a few faculty members.

Placements: From our course, about 3-4 students out of 15 students got placed in good companies. The top recruiting company for our course is General Electric. Around 20%-25% of the students got internships from our course. Companies which visit here to recruit us offer good salary packages, but they select only a few students.

Infrastructure: Everything related to labs, classrooms and library is good here. The food served in the hostel is good, and medical facilities are also good. Sports and games are highly encouraged in our college. You can participate in different tournaments and can play.

Faculty: Faculty members here are fine, but the course curriculum is very bad. There are many subjects which you have to study without any use in future. Few subjects are irrelevant, and lab sessions are not up to the mark. Faculty members can provide anything for the lab work and prepare PPTs and other things. Faculty members always want that the work should be highly research-oriented, but every time, it is not possible. Even students don't have the time to complete all the work. Roles offered to students of our course are class representative, training and placement representative.

It has great faculty, good campus life, hostel, library and events but has average placements.

Placements: Placements are conducting now, so I don't know completely about the placements. A vast range of companies visits here for placements. For specialised branches, it is difficult to get jobs in core fields. Opportunities here suffice if students are eligible for all sectors with the purpose of learning different skills and work experience.

Infrastructure: The hostel provided for girls here is one of the top-most facilities, and the food provided is very good and hygienic. Classrooms are average as their structure is old. However, many conference rooms are built well for projector-oriented lectures. The canteen is decent, but not very huge. The food provided in it is good. Hostel charges are also minimal according to the facilities provided. The campus is green and spacious, and there are many outdoor sports and indoor games facilities. There is a well-equipped gymnasium within the campus, which is also a huge benefit to increase the number of health freaks in society.

Faculty: Faculty members here are good throughout the course. You will very rarely get faculty members who have less interest in their field. Most of them provide above-average guidance and information for students about their interested fields. Most of the professors and associate professors have done doctorate, which will be proven in their lectures and laboratory sessions.

Other: I chose this course as I am from an aerospace background. Turbo machines is a specialised course, and it is related to the core subjects of that department. The course-work is a bit heavy than students would expect for a master's course. So, if students want to join in this department must be ready for a lot of burden of assignments. Our course would be good if the syllabus is reduced to the major courses instead of providing many courses. So, students get enough time to enhance their skills and strength within college hours. The fee is a little high than students would expect from a government college, but masters degree is worth the money as we get a stipend of Rs. 12,400 also. Many events are organised almost throughout the year. Cultural and also technical extra-curricular activities are very actively conducted throughout the campus. Students can easily pursue their sports, dancing, singing and other hobbies very well during their academics.

It is one of the best colleges to pursue your studies. research work and placements are very good.

Placements: As we are still pursuing our course, so none of the students from our branch got placed. Most of our seniors are placed in well-reputed companies. GE and Microsoft are the companies that visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was around 12 LPA. Around 30% of the students got an internship.

Infrastructure: The course designed for a turbomachine is quite good but the curriculum needs to be more organised. I must admit that SVNIT provides one of the best hostels and mess facilities amongst all the premium institutes, and medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and have a remarkable record in their respective fields. They are very kind to students, and teach the subjects in the easiest possible way. This course makes students industry-ready and boost your confidence to work in the big reputed companies.

Other: I opted for this course because I have a great interest in propulsion, and this course helps me to understand propulsion in-depth. Cultural, technical and sports activities organised by the college are at a good level.
