The best of South Campus, Delhi University.
Placements: Not often do they give placement to social science students. Top companies visit the college, but generally, the placement is given to Science students. Placement cell of the college works very well to include the non-science students also, as the official society of the college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are not on the top-notch level, they are pretty good. If I talk about the college library, I'll say it is the best in terms of infrastructure, the availability of books, plus the Wi-Fi connection and the speed is much faster as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, but there are some who are really ignorant. In either category, they belong, each and every professor is an expert in their fields. Semester exams are not that tough if the student pays attention in the lectures. The co-curricular activities are pretty good, as often the organisation of sports weeks, etc., happens on a regular basis.
Other: As Sociology Honours for boys is offered only in two top colleges of DU, i.e., the Hindu and Venkateshwara, hence Venkateshwara is much preferred for sociology, or I say social science.

Very good infrastructure with good crowd ecosystem.
Placements: There are many students who get internships. In academic year 2023, placement rate of 75% across various courses like science, arts, and commerce. The highest package offered is 12.88 LPA, while the average salary is 5.64 LPA. Top companies like USI, KPMG, PwC India, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: Classes are good but they don't have AC. Library has good infrastructure. Wi-Fi speed is slow. Canteen has decent food. It offers excellent facilities and infrastructure for academics and co-curricular development. The classes are well-maintained and equipped with modern technology like projectors and smart boards.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. Semester exam's difficulty level is medium. Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors have advanced degrees and have expertise in their respective fields. They are approachable encouraging open discussion.
Other: Fest of Venky is very popular and very big. Campus ecosystem and infrastructure are very good.

Good infrastructure, facilities, faculty, sports and games, etc.
Placements: My college (Sri Venkateswara College, under Delhi University), offers solid placement opportunities, especially for sociology students, though specific statistics for the course may be limited. The college sees reputable companies like KPMG, Deloitte, and Accenture recruiting for roles in HR, research, and analytics. The highest package reached 21.5 LPA, with an average of 5.9 LPA. Internship culture is strong, with 452 total offers, including opportunities for sociology students. Overall, the college ensures good industry exposure and a career-focused environment, making it a well-rounded choice for social science graduates.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good not only in my course/department but also very well maintained in all other courses/departments. Wi-Fi connection, good maintenance labs, classrooms, and library are available. Facilities in the college hostel are very well-maintained and highly secure. The food in college canteen is very delicious, especially the South Indian section I loved it. Medical facilities is also very good. The whole college is for sports and it is especially for sports students college especially for cricket and all the other facilities for sports are good.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. I like their teaching quality, it is good. Course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams in the college are easy to moderate level. Sometimes it's hard for some students. Semester exam levels are depends on students. To qualify for promotions, students must score 63% in the first and second semesters combined.
Other: I chose sociology because it is my favorite subject and I wanted to learn more about the societies. In future I wanted to be a well government jobs that's why I select the subject sociology. Our college event's name is Nexus and it is a grand college event, many known artist come to perform in the nexus. Campus crowd is good. College is good for scholarship and extracurricular activities, etc.

Your introduction to Venky 101.
Placements: While not personally engaging in placement, I have seen that the college provides the highest placement in Delhi University after SRCC. The highest placement that a B.Com honors student got was 31 lacs LPA, which is quite high, and the college, in general, provides good placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is solid, with a rating of 10. There are functional auditoriums, although administrative constraints affect some aspects. Overall, the infrastructure is quite solid, having both old and new blocks. However, the bathrooms could be better in general.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent, very experienced, amiable, and downright helpful and resourceful. The problem itself is that the new subjects under the NEP policy do not have dedicated teachers for them, and pre-existing faculty only teach them. It would be better if new teachers were hired for these subjects.

The Best DU South Campus college.
Placements: Data from the placement cell report 2022-2023 shows that: a) 242 total placement offers across courses, b) 452 total internship offers, c) the highest package of 2150000, and d) an average package of 658000. Talking specifically about Sociology Hons: out of the 452 total internship offers, 6 were given to B.A. Hons Sociology students. Out of the 242 total placement offers, 2 were given to B.A. Hons Sociology students. The median package is 600000. Top companies which offer positions include Reliance Digital, Dmart, and Croma. The posts offered are HR executive, market research analyst, school counselor, etc.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is extremely good with: a) Wi-Fi across the college, b) projectors in every classroom, and c) the library is air-conditioned and adequately large to accommodate students. The hostel has some drawbacks because: a) it lacks AC, and b) the food has flies and other quality issues, which lead to hostel students falling sick. Quality of mess: Compared to hostel food, the mess has much better quality. Medical facilities and sports: The college has a badminton court, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, and a large ground for cricket and football. The medical room is a good facility too.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and completed the course two weeks before the exam. Sociology as a course is relevant because this discipline will only grow in the coming future. Semester exams are easy based on the PYQs of the last year, and the questions are straightforward. Almost all students pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in sociology. The best thing about it is the versatile nature of this course; you could either pursue sociology further after its completion, do UPSC, or prepare for other government exams. The course is extremely good, I don't think I have a suggestion for the same. Various events are being organized; in the case of our course, we had sports meet, MN Srinivas Declamation contests, and an Annual Sociology Fest known as Conscience collectively. Meritorious students also get internship opportunities.
