Great placements in 2019, good infrastructure, and perfect faculty. But issues in hostel facilities.
Placements: I studied at Sri Venkateshwara College during the 2023–2027 session. My course was B.A. Hons. Political Science, which had 30 students in total. The past placement record has been very impressive, as I discussed with my seniors and professors. They informed me that approximately 80% of the students have been placed in top companies and firms since my course. The overall placement record of the college spanning all the courses is also outstanding, with the majority of the students getting placed in top companies in the country and abroad. The highest package secured last year was 20 lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 lacs per annum, with the average package being 6.5 lacs. The top recruiting companies were NDTV and India Today, with management roles being offered by various other companies. Many students in various placement societies were part of internships by many big media houses, which gave them a great learning experience. The top roles offered during placement were those of reporter and editor in media houses, as well as management roles in various multinational companies. To sum it up, the overall placement record has been quite impressive.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was outstanding, with almost all major facilities being provided on the college campus. The infrastructure facilities include a library, spacious and airy rooms with projector facilities in all the classes, which adds to the ICT facility and helps to obtain a better understanding of the students. The hostel facility is sufficient, with only 200 seats in the hostel for boys and girls each. The college has fast Wi-Fi technology, adding to the overall ICT.
Faculty: The teachers are valuable, qualified and well trained. Most of them are Ph.D.s in the respective courses in which they are taught, with in-depth knowledge of the subject. The course is relevant for major competitive exams, which can help students in their future studies. The semester exams are moderately difficult, with most of the questions being repetitively asked in the end-of-semester examinations. The pass percentage is 33% in both theory and practical exams, respectively.
Other: The course facts serve as a bridge for UPSC exams and help in improving knowledge. The best thing about my course was that it connected us to our society and helped us understand the change happening in our country and the world. The college festival took place on May 8–10 this year with various cultural programs and events, with the festival ending with a concert by Mohit Chauhan. The campus is next to a metro station, which helps with transport.

Satisfied with the college's ranking.
Placements: Top roles offered are Financial research associate, decision analytics associate, research analyst, Audit assistant, actuary analyst, corporate intelligence associate, etc. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, DE Shaw & Co, EY, PwC, Deloitte, United Airlines, etc. Internships: 35 offers out of 111 in arts.
Infrastructure: Well-equipped classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus and labs are there. There is a big and peaceful library with web-opac, CCTV and access to departmental libraries. Sports facilities are Basketball court, cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, badminton court, volleyball court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable in their field. Semester exams are easy to moderate, set by the University of Delhi at the central level. The course curriculum is set by the university at the central level and applies to all colleges with the same papers.

A quality education within a good budget.
Placements: On average, 10 to 15 percent of students from my course secure placements. The highest salary offered is around 5 LPA, while the lowest ranges between 2 LPA. The average salary is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, KPMG, EY, and many more. Obtaining an internship in my course is very challenging.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is quite good compared to other colleges. Our college provides well-equipped classrooms for studies and ample space for playing outdoor games. The technical infrastructure, including computer labs and Wi-Fi, is also good. The quality of food provided in hostels is also good, as told to me by my friends.
Faculty: The professors at the college are friendly, but their main focus is not on teaching us, as they are unable to clear the concepts and our doubts. The curriculum is relevant to our course and gets updated quite frequently. The semester exams are not that tough; if we study, then we can easily pass them.
Other: The fests in the college are quite good, and the crowd on the campus and in fests is also good.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: Almost 40% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The recruiting company depends on the course. Around 50-70% of students got internships. Top roles offered are archeologist and lawyer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college has Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, etc. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. The medical, sports, and games facilities are average.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified. They are helpful and knowledgeable. They provide good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 33%.

Perfect college of your dreams.
Placements: In the Bachelor of Arts, not many students got placed due to course structure or demand from companies because finance companies come and select students of B.Com. (Hons.) and Prog. They need specialized students in the commerce stream. Yes, some students got placed from our batch in companies whose demand is for all courses, like in the content writing field, and one girl got a package of around INR 16 LPA last year. And many got internships at companies like Wayspire, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good. In our college, we have all the facilities, like Wi-Fi labs, classrooms that are too good, and libraries, but now a days there is construction work going on in the library, but we can issue books from them. But the sitting area is closed due to construction work, but yes, we can definitely issue books from it, and if we talk about the hostel, then yes, it is also very good. The food is super hygienic and tasty. We get different types of food in every meal, and the food is very good and tasty. Sport facilities are also good; we have many options like TT, long tennis, basketball court badminton, and indoor games like chess, so overall, the hostel is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and, yes, very helpful; they never denied us any kind of help, even when we asked questions out of class or at other times. They are all well qualified, and most of them have good experience in the teaching field. The pass percentage is about 95; I am not sure. Because too few students have backlogs and the semester exams are of a moderate level—not too hard, not too easy.
Other: Because I got a good combination (eco+maths), I am from a science background (PCBM), so I didn't want to lose math in my graduation and wanted to pursue a B.A. because of my future career goals. There is no need for improvement; the curriculum is already the best. And the event Nexus has not happened yet, but yes, Nexus is very famous in all Delhi colleges.
