1. Candidates must have completed VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII grades in Tamil Nadu schools in order to be admitted to the hostel.

4. In order to be eligible for admission, students must additionally have passed the class 12th examination with 45% of the possible points in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from an accredited board.

5. A minimum of 60% overall in 10+2 with PCM is needed for admission to B.Tech programs; SC/ST applicants may be exempt. Additionally, there are state-specific requirements for hostel admittance.

The basic criteria requires students to clear their grade 12 examination with minimum required percentage from a recognised board. A minimum of 70% shall be the cut-off mark setting for this specialised course.
