Yes, it is worth pursuing BTech at UPES Delhi as the university is recognised as the Scientific and Research Organisation by DISR, the Ministry of Science Technology,  and the Government of India. The university is a member of the AIU, International Association of Universities,  and World Design Organisation. UPES has also been accredited with an A Grade by NAAC and is ranked 42 under the Engineering category by NIRF 2024.

Candidates must secure at least 50 percentile for admission to through SAT India score.  UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses. Apart from these, UPES Dehradun also accepts national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CUET UG, NEET, JEE Main, etc. Candidates after completing Class 12 can apply for UG courses. A minimum of graduation is required for PG courses. 

BTech is one of the popular courses of UPES - Experience Centre. As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. Apart from the Engineering course, UPES - Experience Centre was also the part of NIRF Ranking under 'University' category. Recently, the university also found a place in 'Overall' category of NIRF 2022 rankings. As per the latest report, over 250 recruiters participated and presented over 2,000 job offers to the class of 2023. The fee for UPES varies depending on the program and the specific fees involved. For example, the tuition fee for all programs ranges from Rs. 1,23,000 to Rs. 1,32,000, and the academic service fee ranges from Rs. 82,000 to Rs. 88,000. For the Master of Business Administration courses, the total tuition fee is between INR 8.58 Lacs to INR 12.56 Lacs for 2 years. Additionally, there are other fees such as the PDC fee for UG programs, which is Rs 21,000/-, and various other charges for specific purposes. The fee for BTech programs ranges between INR 10.2 lakh - INR 18.5 lakh. For international students, the program fee structure is provided in USD per Annum for various programs
