This college is a very good college. We have good infrastructure and a campus.
Placements: The placement scenario is at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune. It's very good and strong. Every year, more than 500 companies visit our college, offering opportunities across IT, mechanical, chemical, and product-based roles. The highest package goes on in 2021, goes up to 50 LPA, and will average packages for B. Teach students ranging between 7 and 9 LPA about computers and the IT branch, sourcing good packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, is excellent and well-maintained. The classroom has space and a smart board, and the labs are equipped with modern equipment to support practical learning. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus and in the library. The faculty is very good, with a good collection of books and e-resources. The hostel faculty are decent. With a clean room and adequate security. The food is average but hygienic, with a good variety of meals.
Faculty: The faculty at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, is highly qualified and supportive. Many professors hold Ph. D.s and have strong industrial experience, which helps bridge the gap between the theoretical concept and practical application. The exam structure is fair and well-balanced.

VIT Pune dream or nightmare.
Placements: From the 3rd year of college that is 5th and 6th semester, companies come to college and students are eligible for campus placements. For the chemical engineering department, the highest placement offered is 8 LPA by Emerson. While other companies haven't come due to the recession. For the computer science department, the highest package offered is 35 LPA. The average package is 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Nvidia, Microsoft, etc. There are off-campus placements also. Top roles are process engineer in chemical engineering, SDE for CSE, etc. The placement percentage for the IT department is more than 85% while for cord is nearly 60%.
Infrastructure: The college has 4 main buildings on campus where different courses have been taught. CSE, IT, ENTC, and aids are in building 1 and 2. Mechanical and production are in building 3. Chemicals and instruments are in building 4. There are various laboratories for every department in the college. Classrooms have Wi-Fi connectivity with projectors for teaching. But there were connectivity issues in back years which are now being solved. The library of the college contains all department books but the quantity is not enough. Most of the time, needed books are available.
Faculty: The course has all the concepts and chapters included. But those are not comprehensive compared to other colleges of chemical engineering in Maharashtra. Most of the concepts taught are niche and it's a bit concerning. The chemical department at VIT is going to be closed soon and it proves discontinuity in culture. There are numerous faculty members with their respective skills and expertise in VIT. For the chemical engineering department, semesters exams aren't hard. Many exams are of MCQ type but adding group discussion, project reviews, literature, and surveys to the exam pattern makes it interesting and more practical.
Other: There are 2 major cultural events like Vishwakarandak and Vishwotsav. Vishwakarandak is an annual sports and cultural event where sports, dancing, singing, poetry, and various other competitions take place. Vishwotsav is a cultural attires fest. There are various clubs and communities in VIT, Pune. It is the biggest strength of VIT. In the library, all books of academics are av

A short review of VIT Pune College.
Placements: The management is 100% behind the students. There are many opportunities for students to engage in internships with companies like TATA. The only downside is that the course load is light, which means that students have fewer opportunities for internships and higher-level projects.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our department are very good. The classrooms, library, and auditorium have Wi-Fi. The equipment in the lab is old, but the facilities are good enough for a college. The food in the canteen is good, and the fruit canteen is the best.
Faculty: The quality of teaching is very good, and the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry by providing projects from the first year itself. The semester exams are not too difficult, but one needs to study.

Campus is small but college life is great.
Placements: For my course, Chemical Engineering, around 60% students are placed, and the highest package is 11 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. Every student from Chemical Engineering got their internship; for some, it was in the manufacturing sector, and for others, it was in research and development.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs, Mac lab, library, canteen, classrooms, auditorium. College does not have its own hostel. College campus is small. Infrastructure is not that good. Many events are held in a year: Vishwakarandak, Vishwotsav, Mélange are some of the events held in VIT.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified from very reputed IITs and other reputed institutes. Faculty members are either M.Tech graduates or Ph.D. graduates. The semester exams are from moderate to difficult level. Pass percentage is 40% of the subject. Yes, and the course makes a student ready for the industry.

It is the best college for placements and I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: Placement in our college are not much better than other colleges. Around 70% of students get placed in our college and other students prefer higher studies abroad or go to research field. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the minimum salary package is 2 LPA, and the average salary package is 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are IOCL, BP, and more.
Infrastructure: Our college is in local area, so there is a network issue. Infrastructure is good. Our college provides Wi-Fi for all staff members and students. Labs are not good. I suggest avoiding the college hostel which is much costly and the food served is not good.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best, well-qualified, and very helpful. They are very humble to students and very knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good as the college focuses on the project. Semester exams are not difficult but if students don't study, they will find exams difficult. The pass percentage is 37%.
Other: I chose this course as I'm interested in the chemical branch and want to go abroad for higher studies. Students from chemical engineering can go to the research field, mining, and in pharmaceutical companies. There are around 120 students in our branch.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of campus. Good placement in 2018.Faculty is cooperative.
Placements: 70% to 80% of the students are placed every year. In 2022 the highest package is about 8-10L PA. Average package offered are 4-6 LPA. 50% -60% of the students get internship in reputed companies. In my course top roles are offered for designing.
Infrastructure: In our department Wi-Fi speed is average, and classrooms are big. All labs of our department are well-equipped and average in size. In our college no hostel facility is available. But college recommends the best hostel in nearby area. In our college there are 3 canteen.
Faculty: In our department all teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holder. Semester exams are tough for few subjects. Pass percentage is above 40%. Curriculum of our college is best as compared to other colleges.
Other: First thing, my branch is unique . In Pune, chemical branch is available hardly in 3 to 4 colleges. In chemical engineering branch research field is vast in compared to other branches.

VIT is a good college concerning placements, faculty, and labs.
Placements: VIT Pune is an autonomous college situated in upper Indira Nagar, Hinjewadi, Pune. It has an awesome placement every year. In 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA in CS and ENTC branches. But it varies according to departments like mechanical, chemical, instrumentation and control.
Infrastructure: The college has awesome labs, classrooms, and Wi-Fi facilities, along with canteens. The college has three canteens. The food in the canteen is awesome. The college hostel is not situated on the campus, it is just outside the college.
Faculty: The college has well-educated faculty, and many of them are Ph.D. holders from renowned institutes. Teachers are very helpful not only in academics but also in other aspects. The curriculum has a very well-organised semester pattern consisting of theory, lab, tutorial, and presentation. Those who want to study for competitive exams like GATE, MOSC, UPSC, etc., can get a lot of time for preparation.
Other: The college conducts three biggest events, Vishwotsav, Vishwkarandak, and Melange. Vishwkarandak is an inter-department competition, while Mélange is an inter-college event in which different colleges in Pune compete against each other.

It has a really good curriculum and assessment pattern with good placements.
Placements: I am a student of chemical engineering and am currently in my third year. As far as placements are concerned, in chemical engineering, many students go for higher studies. So very less students sit for placements in chemical engineering. But many companies like Loreal Paris offered a placement with salary packages of 12 LPA. Students with good academic backgrounds were placed with a salary package of 5-6 LPA. Many students who are good at coding land in IT jobs, and as far as IT jobs are concerned, VIT has very good placement in tech fields. Companies like Goldman Sachs, and Cognizant visit colleges for campus placements.
Infrastructure: VIT has very well-qualified professors. Mostly everyone has a Ph.D. in their domain. Teaching is very effective in classrooms. Labs and tutorials are held very effectively. The college has Wi-Fi with average connectivity. There is a central library known as Bajrangdas Lohiya central library, which has all the required books. Classrooms are equipped with desks and projectors screen. Labs are equipped with all required apparatus. Computers in labs are also new technology desktops. The college hostel is not on campus. It is around 2-3 km away from the college campus. Mess food is of good quality and there are basic amenities in the college hostel. The hostel is like a huge building with flats. Every flat has 3 rooms occupied by 5 girls. On the college campus, sports like cricket, volleyball, Kho, football, table tennis, and chess are played.
Faculty: As far as curriculum and exams are concerned, VIT is the best college to ever test it. The curriculum is designed in such a way that makes a student industry ready. VIT doesn't have those 80 marks theory papers. It has MCQ exams or 40-mark theory papers. Also, students are assessed on many things like PPT presentations, group discussions, projects, home assignments, software development projects, EDI, etc. All these help in overall development. Teachers are well qualified and they teach well. The course curriculum is relevant to the course and three semesters are held common to all students. In these semesters, emphasis is laid on coding. Semester exams are quite above average level and one needs to study well to excel in exams, the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because this was the best I could grab with my MHT CET percentile. VIT is one of the best colleges in the state to offer chemical engineering. Every year four major events are held that are freshers party, Vishwotsav, Vishwakarandak, and Melange. You will find a mix of the crowd in the college with students from across the state and country. There are many NRI students in the college. All these fests involve a variety of engaging extracurricular activities. College keeps its students aware of the variety of scholarship that comes up from time to time. Major emphasis is laid on research and they enforce students to publish research papers and build good projects.

Hi Satyam, You have a good percentile. However, with this score you might not get VIT Pune in the very first round. I have done chemical engineering from same college and I had got 93 percentiles at my time of JEE Mains. Still you should apply and wait until the results of last round are announced.

Hello Purnesh, You are eligible to get admission in VIT-Pune. But according to the last year's cut-off, it's really hard to get one as last year's cut-off for chemical engineering was 125 in MHT-CET. Good luck.
