The URAT PG 2025 exam was conducted by the University of Rajasthan. The aim of this exam is to provide admission to the PG programs offered by the University. Once the result was declared, eligible candidates had to appear for the URAT PG 2025 counselling. The website to participate in the counselling is, admissions.univraj.org/uratpgPanel.

What is URATPG?

The University of Rajasthan (popularly known as Rajasthan University) conducts the University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Post Graduate (URATPG) for shortlisting candidates. The entrance exam, URATPG is conducted in a pen-paper based test mode for a duration of two hours. URATPG will be carrying 100 objective-type of questions based on the subject as chosen by the candidates. On the basis of URATPG scores, admissions are offered to Humanities, Management, Teaching, Law, Science, IT & Software, Commerce, Arts (Fine/ Visual/ Performing), Mass Communication and, Banking & Finance

Q:   What documents should I carry to the URATPG exam center along with the admit card?
A: 

Candidates will be required to carry the following items to the exam centre on the exam day:

  • Admit card of URAT PG: It is the most important document to be carried to the exam hall as it mentions all the important details including exam centre details, timing, etc.
  • Valid ID proof: ID proof may include the Aadhar card, passport, voter card, PAN Card, Driving license, etc.
  • Passport size photograph
  • Any other permissible item: Candidates who have received the special permission such as extra time due to a disability must carry the relevant documents or approvals related to such accommodations.

URATPG 2025 Application Form

First candidates need to visit the official website UNIRAJ and, register themselves by entering their basic details including, name, father's name, date of birth, category, and subjects applying for. After this candidates need to pay the application fee in the online mode using e-payment methods - net banking/debit card/credit card. Then, they need to fill the application form with academic and other details. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form in online mode only. Thereafter, they can get printouts of the submitted application form for future references.

Candidates who want to appear in the URATPG exam can use the following steps to fill out the application form for the postgraduate courses offered by the University of Rajasthan: 

Step 1: Go to the official website of the UniRaj or click on the direct application/registration form. 

Step 2: Register for the exam by filling in your personal details, mobile number, and email address. 

Step 3: Generate a password to access all the details related to URATPG 2025. 

Step 4: Use your mobile number/application number and password to sign in. 

Step 5: Fill out the application form by entering your educational qualification-related details and personal details. 

Step 6: Select the subject for which you want to take the URATPG exam.

URATPG Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates seeking admissions to courses offered at the university need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for their respective course as mentioned below:

  • Candidates should have completed a bachelor degree in a relevant subject of the stream of the course. 
  • They should have secured at least 55% in aggregate of all the subjects in the qualifying degree.  
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically Handicapped (PH) categories need to secure at least 50% in aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying degree.

URAT PG 2025 Syllabus

The URAT PG syllabus includes the topics asked in the exam. The UniRaj releases the syllabus for the candidates to refer during the preparation in the exam. The interested candidates are required to go through the syllabus and pattern to prepare an effective strategy. The question paper will have 100 multiple choice questions in total. The URAT PG exam syllabus will be different for each course offered at the University.

URATPG 2025 Admit Card

URAT PG 2025 admit card will be issued to registered candidates to appear for the entrance exam. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website of Rajasthan University using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates need to carry the printouts of admit card on the exam day. The admit card of URATPG is an essential document mentioning details about the exam, test-takers and test centre name and location. 

Candidates have to appear for URATPG at the allotted exam centre as per the schedule. They should reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam timings and should carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.

URATPG 2025 Answer Key

The University of Rajasthan publishes the URATPG answer keys 2025 for entrance exams conducted for all PG courses. The answer keys are published twice, first a provisional answer key and then a final answer key after revision. Later, the final answer key will be published for the exam.

The candidates will be able to download the answer key (provisional) to cross-check their responses as marked in the examination. Moreover, they will also be able to raise objections on URATPG 2025 answer key, incase of discrepancies related to any question or option.

The URATPG result 2025 was released on UniRaj official website - admissions.univraj.org. However, before publishing the scores of candidates in URATPG, the university released the answer key for candidates to clarify their doubts. URATPG 2025 Counselling Process

The candidates whose names appear in the merit list will have to report to the university and the concerned department as per the schedule along with the documents in original and scanned format. Candidates aspiring to participate in the counsellinf process will have to fil in the URATPG Phase II application released online on the UniRaj official portal. Candidates filling the application form can select up to 5 courses for admission.
