Yes, XLRI Jamshedpur accepts XAT scores for admission to PGDM programmes. Candidates can also apply with a valid socre in GMAT/ GRE for PGDM GM programme. Those who score equal or above XAT cutoff is selected for further rounds. Selected candidates are further called for group discussion and/ or personal interview.
For XLRI FPM students, a monthly stipend of INR 45,000 will be awarded for the first two years and INR 50,000 for the next two years. For XLRI admission, candidates are required to apply online. Candidates can apply for more than one programme at the same time. XLRI admission process includes an application process, shortlisting of candidates for GD & PI, the release of cutoff and announcement of the final list for admission. 1: XLRI Application Process 2026
The admission process begins with the filling of the application form. Eligible candidates can visit the XLRI official website (xlri.ac.in) to apply. For PGDM, aspirants have to register for XAT. The application fee for XAT is INR 2,200 and INR 200 each for every additional programme of XLRI.
2: Selection
Candidates must appear for the XAT entrance test to be eligible for XLRI PGDM admission 2026. Soon after the declaration of the XAT result, XLRI releases the admission cutoff list. Those who meet the XAT cutoff, are eligible to appear for the Personal Interview (PI) round of XLRI course admission. Candidates with a valid GMAT or GRE score can also apply for PGDM GM. The institute selects candidates for Executive programmes based on their XAT or GMAT scores.
Candidates must have a valid national-level entrance exam score such as XAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE, UGC-JRF or NET for admission to FPM programme.
3: Final Admission
The college shortlists students for PI based on their entrance exam scores. Apart from national-level entrance exam scores and screening of applications, XLRI also considers work experience, educational background and extracurricular activities.

XLRI PGDM courses are two-year courses on the postgraduate level. PGDM at XLRI is offered in full-time mode in several different specialisations. The XLRI PGDM admissions are entrance based, requiring cadidates to clear the XAT entrance exam.

Until the fee is paid, the XAT application form will remain pending acceptance. Candidates must note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
