How to prepare for NIFT without Coaching?
One can also score good marks by preparing for the NIFT exam at home. If you are preparing for the exam at home, or in other words, on your own, focus on these few things.
- Go through the exam syllabus and pattern: Understand the pattern and syllabus of NIFT exam and prepare accordingly. There are so many websites and YouTube channels that have good study material. NIFT releases the official syllabus and pattern, stick to it.
- Make a study timetable: Always make a plan. Divide various sections of the exam and give time to all according to your needs. If your General ability is weak, allot more time and if creative ability requires more time, then practice, sketching, doodling, etc., more.
- Solve sample papers and previous year's question papers: This is one of the greatest strategies to clear the exam. Solve as many question papers as you can. This will help you to know the pattern, type of question, most repeated questions, etc.

There is no fixed number of mock tests one should take before the NIFT Entrance Exam. A candidate should take at least one mock test daily for the NIFT Entrance Preparation. 10-15 mock tests will really help in preparing for the exam.
