AP EAMCET 2020 exam day guidelines and COVID-19 safety measures

JNTU has released exam day guidelines and COVID-19 safety measures for AP EAMCET 2020. The exam is scheduled from September 17 to 25.
JNTU Kakinada will be conducting AP EAMCET 2020 from September 17-25 in CBT mode. Check COVID-19 safety measures and do's and don'ts on the exam day here.

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada is all set to conduct AP EAMCET 2020 exam from September 17-25 in computer-based mode at various exam centres across the state. The exam was earlier postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. To appear in AP EAMCET, candidates must follow AP EAMCET 2020 exam day guidelines as set by the authority. Due to COVID-19 outbreak, there are some protocols that the authority has set and to be followed strictly by the candidates. Below do's and don’ts in AP EAMCET 2020 and COVID-19 safety measures.

The students are hereby informed that the Instruction 8 in AP EAMCET 2020 Hall Ticket (Attestation of a copy of Filled in Application by a Gazetted Officer / Principal of the college where the candidate studied) will be relaxed to avoid inconvenience to the student in view of COVID-19 conditions. However, any information found false will result in the disqualification of candidates from the examination.

Do's and Don'ts for AP EAMCET 2020

Items prohibited

  • A printed copy of AP EAMCET 2020 Admit Card
  • Original id proof as mentioned in admit card
  • Recent passport size colour photograph
  • Candidates must wear your own face mask and wear hand gloves at all times
  • Bring only transparent water bottle to the the exam hall
  • Bring personal hand sanitizer for hygiene and safety purposes
  • Candidates will not be allowed inside the exam hall without the admit card
  • Any personal devices viz. The computational device, bluetooth device, electronic gadgets etc are strictly prohibited
  • The mobile phone is only allowed until the entry gate to show the Arogya Setu dashboard
  • Any textual material, printed or written, bits of papers etc. are strictly prohibited

Pre-Examination COVID-19 Protocols

  • Candidates must maintain social distance
  • Candidates have to follow the rope cues and floor marks while standing in the queue outside the exam gate
  • They need to wear masks at all times
  • The temperature of the candidates at the entry gates
  • Candidates having a temperature above 99.14 Fahrenheit will have to sit in the isolation lab
  • Candidates have to wash their hands with soaps before proceeding to the exam lab
  • Candidates will be informed about their lab number at the entry gate
  • To avoid overcrowding, time slots have been staged and mentioned in AP EAMCET 2020 admit card

During Examination – COVID-19 protocols

  • The computer screen will show COVID-19 safety instruction, which will display the candidate’s status regarding COVID-19 symptoms, and if the candidate does not accept self-declaration, then the exam will not be moved forward.
  • Candidates are allowed to bring personal mask, hand sanitizer, transparent water bottle, gloves and a simple pen
  • Admit card and Photo ID proof like Aadhaar Card etc. will be allowed inside the exam

Post-Examination –COVID-19 safety measures

  • After completion of the test, candidates will be allowed to move out in an orderly manner, one student at a time
  • The admit card must be dropped in the drop box at the exit
  • Candidates have to maintain social distancing and should over crowed during the exit
  • Volunteers will be present at the exit gate to ensure the orderly movement of candidates

Other Important Instructions

  • Candidates will be provided with rough sheets which have to be submitted after the completion of the test
  • The admit card and ID proof will be checked at the entry for authentication
  • After entering the exam hall, the admit card and ID will be checked from a safe distance
  • While entering at the exam centre, candidates will be guided to the registration desk for capturing their photograph
  • During photo capturing, candidates must make eye contact in the webcam
  • The invigilator/registration manager will guide candidates to the exam lab to sit in the allotted place
  • Candidates can leave the exam hall only after the invigilator permits them to exit

Allocation of Candidates in Exam Hall

  • Candidates are allocated seat with social distancing norms.
  • Sanitization of Exam-Labs (Chairs, Floors, Keyboards, Mouse, Systems & Desks) will be done before and after each shift
