As per NIRF 2025 rankings, CU is ranked 31 under the 'Engineering' category (better than IIT Ropar which was ranked #32 under NIRF'25 Engineering category) and managed to improve its position from the last year's ranking, which was 32 in the year 2024. 

In terms of the placements, below is what the Engineering students received:

• The highest international and domestic packages offered during CU placement 2025 was INR 170 LPA and INR 54.75 LPA, respectively, to BTech students of CSE & IT branches.
• While for other branches, such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics & Automobile, the highest salary offered was INR 9 LPA. 
• The highest package offered to the students of Civil, Petroleum & Chemical Engineering branches went up till INR 15 LPA.

To conclude, it is evident that CU is a great option for Engineering aspirants if you're willing to pursue CSE & IT branches, however, for other non-IT branches, the placements are decent but not as great as the CS & IT branches. 

The total fee for BTech range from INR 4.5 lakh - INR 36 lakh. Admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET UG scores. Yes, the CT Group of Institutions (CTGI) accepts JEE Main scores for BTech admissions. Students must have at least 50% aggregate combined in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) after passing Class 12. Candidates must have a valid JEE Main score for admission. But their website makes no mention of any particular cutoff. The application form can be filled out online on the CTGI website or through a designated admission portal. Submit the scanned copies of the Class 12 marksheet, the JEE Main score card, etc. During the application process, students can select their preferred BTech branch and campus as well. CTGI will publish a merit list in accordance with the JEE Main score and Class 12 average. Seats are allocated according to students 'rank on the merit list and the availability of seats per branch and campus.

The first session exam was conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2025 (Paper 1), and January 30, 2025 (Paper 2). The second session of JEE Mains was held from April 1 to 8, 2025. The JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 and 2 can be checked on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in.  

Chitkara University does not provide any additional entrance examination for admission. There are two main criterias for B.Tech. First of all, the candidates must pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks of the total marks (mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in any stream. And secondly, candidates are required to appear in national-lavel entrance examination, for example JEE Main (mandatory for 2023 batch).

The procedure to get admission in any course at Guru Kashi University (GTU) is through entrance examinations like CMAT, CAT etc. On the basis of marks attained in these entrance examinations a merit list is created and that would be the deciding factor of whether or not you would be getting a seat in GTU.

In order to get admission in B.Tech one should give JEE Mains and advanced examination. Scoring a decent rank will led to your name in the merit list and ultimately an admission in GTU

Both a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning are valuable degrees with their own unique focuses.

Talking about placements the institute concluded its placement drive of 2023. As per report, the highest package offered during Gulzar Group Institutes placements 2023 stood at INR 15 LPA. Further, more than 2,500 placement offers were made by the popular companies such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys and many others.

However, the median package offered to B.Tech computer Science and engineering or B.Tech artificial intelligence and machine learning students stood at INR 2.21 LPA during 2023 placements.

In conclusion both the courses doesn't guarantee placement to a student and have a bad placement record, and choosing any one between the two courses will not have a change in your placements through gulzar group of institutes.
