B.Tech Mechanical Engineering Colleges in India 2026: Admissions, Courses, Fees, Placements

Aditya Silver Oak Institute of Technology BTech admission 2024 concluded recently. The 2025 BTech admission will open soon. As of now there are no official in-house dates available on the official website. Candidates can watch out for the acceptinf entrance exam dates. 

In order to get admission to BTech at MCKVIE, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Technical Vocational subjects (in both theory and practical) (40% aggregate for reserved category). Further, a 30% aggregate is also required in English from a recognised board. As per the next step, aspirants need to qualify for either JEE Main or WBJEE with a valid score.

The number of students who will be able to do BTech at Saintgits college of engineering totally depends on the seats available for the students. If there are more number of seats available, more number of students can do BTech and vise versa. Different departments of BTech will have different number of seats and cutoff will be released accordingly. The number of seats available will be disclosed when the admission are open. 

To check the RTMNU cutoff 2026 go to university website that is nagpuruniversity.ac.in or affiliated college websites for merit lists which is usually released after 10+2 or qualifying exam results. For specific courses students can check admission notices or the state common entrance test like MHT CET portals for cutoffs. 

Sapthagiri College of Engineering has made it mandatory for General category students to have at least 45% aggregate in their optional subjects in order to get enrolled in the BE course. For students from Karnataka belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories, the minimum percentage required in order to get enrolled in the BE course is 40%. As per the official admission guidelines of DY Patil University Pune, candidates capable of doing BTech without JEE Main. Since the university also accepts MHT-CET entrance exam for the BTech admission. Students must have a valid qualification before beginning the admission process. Kalyani University admission to most of the courses are offered via scores of various state/ national-level entrance exams. However, the university does not conduct any entrance exams on its own, but it accepts a few state/ national-level entrances conducted by West Bengal state. These include WBJEE, WB JECA, WB JEMAT, CAT, MAT, GATE, etc., for admission to BTech, MCA, MBA and M.Tech programmes. Yes, Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Electrical Engineering will also be required to complete MTech and PhD in the required discipline.They must clear GATE in order to pursue M.Tech and later pursue PhD in the same discipline. They must demonstrate excellent research skills by grabbing fellowships and submitting research papers across SCOPUS indexed journals.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology conducts KIITEE exam every year for admissions to various courses. Applicants looking for admissions are advised to first go through the KIITEE syllabus thoroughly. It helps candidates to prepare an effective strategy to ace the exam with a good score. Along with the syllabus, applicants must also go through KIITEE exam pattern to understand the scheme of the exam. Applicants are advised to study regularly with short breaks. The total fee of BTech ranges between INR 6 Lacs and INR 10 Lacs as per an unofficial source. Candidates who have applied for BTech (lateral entry) need to pay a total fee ranging between INR 2.40 Lacs and INR 5.40 Lacs as per an unofficial source. The fee might includes components other than the tuition fee. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. The selection to BTech course will be based on BEEE score.  In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled.
