MHT CET 2026 Dates: Maharashtra CET Cell conducted the MHT CET 2026 exam in two sessions. Candidates can check the group-wise exam dates below.

  • Session 1: April 11 to 26 (PCM-> April 11 to 20; PCB-> April 21 to 26).
  • Session 2: May 10 to 21 (PCM-> May 12 to 21; PCB-> May 10 & 11).

The MHT CET 2nd attempt result for PCB was released on June 17 and for PCM was announced on June 19. The authorities will soon announce the MHT CET CAP schedule and students have to participate in the counselling process for admission. Maharashtra CET Cell has declared the MHT CET 2026 result 2026 for second attempt PCM group on the website - cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates can check the MHT CET result by logging in to the candidate portal with their email ID and password. The MHT CET result mentions the percentile (both subject-wise and aggregate percentile). The authorities declared the MHT CET 2026 1st attempt PCB result on June 8 and for the PCM group on June 15. MHT CET Counselling Dates 2026

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell usually begins the MHT CET 2026 counselling in June. The counselling will be conducted online in four rounds. Candidates must register for the counselling process. After registration, CET Cell will release the merit list with details of the All India rank of candidates. The allotment of seats will be done based on the MHT CET merit list. The CET Cell will organise separate counselling for J&K and Ladakh candidates.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducted a special MHT CET registration 2026 for the second attempt on April 23. Candidates who missed applying earlier were able to apply for the PCM or PCB groups by paying a late fee of Rs 500. To apply for the exam, candidates had to register on the CET portal with their APAAR ID or Aadhaar details. After registration, students were able to fill the application form and select the CET they want to apply for. Moreover, candidates had to fill in the choices of exam centre and pay the MHT CET application fee. Those who completed the MHT CET registration as per the deadline are issued the admit card to appear in the exam.

MHT CET 2026 Application Form Correction Date

The MHT CET form correction window was activated on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Registered candidates were able to make edits to their application forms between March 5 and 7. Candidates were able to make changes only to a few fields. Moreover, students were given the option to add a subject group or apply for the MHT CET second attempt scheduled in May during the correction period itself.

The authority has issued the provisional MHT CET hall ticket for the second attempt. The MHT CET provisional hall ticket 2026 for the PCM group was released on May 5 and for the PCB group, it was released on May 4. The provisional admit card or the MHT CET city slip mentions the candidate's allotted exam date, time and city.

The final MHT CET 2026 hall ticket for PCB was issued on May 6 and for the PCM group, it was issued on May 7. Candidates can download the MHT CET 2026 admit card from the website, cetcell.mahacet.org, using their email ID and password.

MHTCET Answer Key 2026 Date

The State Common Entrance Test Cell released the final MHT CET 2026 answer key for session 2 PCM. Candidates can check their MHT CET final answer key by logging in to the CET portal. The finl key is prepared by considering the valid objections received. The provisional MHT CET 2026 PCM answer key for session 2, response sheet and challenge window was available for a limited time. Candidates were allowed to raise objections to the provisional key by paying the fee and uploading supporting documents. The results will be prepared as per the final MHT CET answer key.

Students can take help of online tutorials and videos from previous year toppers who have cleared the exam without coaching to understand their strategy. One thing that is required when students are not taking coaching is regular study.

Make a daily time table of study and devote at least 5-6 hours for MHT CET preparation. Students who are in class 11 or 12 can give 3-4 hours specifically for CET beside school studies. Students who have passed class 12 should also study at least 6 hours daily.
