The Maharashtra CET cell has closed the MHT CET 2026 form correction window. Students were able to make corrections to the MHT CET application form by March 7, on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The MHT CET 2026 form correction window was accessible under the respective MHT CET logins of the candidates.

MHT CET Application Form Correction 2026: The Maharashtra CET Cell conducted the MHT CET 2026 application form correction from March 5 to 7. Registered candidates were allowed to make corrections to their MHT CET application form by logging in to the MHT CET candidate login portal at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates require their registered email ID and password to access the application correction facility. The authorities only opened a few important fields for correction. Moreover, students were also given the option to add another attempt or subject group for MHT CET 2026.

The MHT CET form correction window opens only once for registered candidates. The MHT CET 2026 application form was available from January 10 to February 24, while the last date for registration with late fees was February 27. This year onwards, the MHT CET 2026 exam will be held in two sessions this year, in April and May. Candidates who are appearing for the exam this year, can check the MHT CET exam dates below:

Q:   Where can I find important study materials for MHT CET preparation?
A: 

While it is necessary that students pay special attention to chapters with high weightage, it is highly advised that they cover the full MHT CET syllabus. The question paper of MHT CET is prepared by considering the entire CET syllabus which consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from class 11 and 12. Important study material for MHT CET like books or short notes can be checked online. Students who are taking coaching can get the study materials from the coaching institutes.

Q:   How can a candidate verify his/her marks in MHT CET?
A: 

For verifying marks, candidates are required to write an application to the Divisional authority. It must reach to the authority within four days of result declaration. Along with the application, a bank draft of Rs 1,000 in the name “Director of Education & Research Mumbai” must also be submitted.

Q:   How is MHT CET conducted, online or offline?
A: 

Maharashtra CET Cell conducts MHT CET exam in online mode as a computer-based test. MHT CET exam is conducted for two different courses; BTech, and BPharma. The exam for both BTech and BPharma is completely online. The exam is held across various test cities in India.

Q:   How many times MHT CET is conducted in a year?
A: 

From 2026 onwards, Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET exam twice a year in April and May. MHT CET 2026 exam dates have been announced for both April and May session exams. The details about exam dates for both PCM and PCB groups have been released on the official website and the same can be checked on this page. 

What Details Can Be Edited in MHT CET 2026 Registration Form?

Candidates can edit only the details below in the MHT CET form during the application form correction window:

If you have made mistakes in the spelling of your name, you can correct them.

Date of birth

You can make corrections in your date of birth filled in the form
Photograph If you have not uploaded your photo correctly, and it is not as per the MHT CET 2026 photo upload guidelines, then you will have an opportunity to reupload a new photo.
Signature Similarly, if you have not uploaded your signature properly, you can reupload a new one
Gender Change of gender will also be allowed in the form correction window
Add group You can also add a group. If you have already applied for PCM, then you can add PCB and vice versa. However, for this change, an extra fee will be charged.
Add second attempt Those who have only registered for MHT CET first attempt can also add the second attempt. This is the final chance to add another attempt.

 Importance of Filling Correct Details During MHT CET Registration 2026

The registration process includes registration, filling form, selecting the CET, selecting the exam city, uploading documents and payment of the application fee. Candidates had to complete the process online. Only those candidates who completed the application process before the deadline will be issued the MHT CET admit card 2026 to appear for the exam.
