Yes JEE Main 2024 syllabus has been reduced. Syllabus has been revised to focus on key topics. Some changes are - 

• Mathematics: Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning units are removed from Mathematics. 
• Physics: Communication Device units are removed 
• Chemistry: Surface Chemistry, States of Matter, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, Hydrogen, Environmental Chemistry, Alcohol Phenol and Ether, Polymers chapters are removed.
