Yes syllabus has been reduced. Syllabus has been revised to focus on key topics. Some changes are given below -

• Mathematics: Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning units are removed.
• Physics: Communication Device units are removed.
• Chemistry: Surface Chemistry, States of Matter, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, Hydrogen, Environmental Chemistry, Alcohol Phenol and Ether, Polymers chapters are removed.

Syllabus is available on NTA website. Syllabus has 64 chapters with 16 in math, 20 in physics and also 28 in Chemistry.
