IBPS Clerk Exam Dates 2026: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection wil release the exam notification on July 2026. The Institute will also release the IBPS application form with notification. The application deadline will be notified by the examination authority. The IBPS exam calendar was released on its official website ibps.in earlier. The Institute will conduct the IBPS Prelims exam on October 10 and 11.
The exam will be conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam(CBE). The candidates can prepare their strategy according to the IBPS 2026 exam dates notified in calendar. The exam sof IBPS Clerk prelims comprises three sections. Total marks allotted to the exam are 100. The duration of the exam is one hour. Questions are asked from the syllabus.
The selection process of IBPS Clerk includes preliminary and Mains exams. The final selection is done based on the Mains exam. The prelims exam marks are not counted for the merit list. Candidates selected through IBPS Clerk exam will be recruited to the 11 participating public sector banks in India. Candidates can ace the exam with good preparation.
IBPS Clerk exam is conducted every year. The exam is conducted to select candidates for Clerical cadre post in 11 public sector banks. The selection process comprises prelims exam and Mains exam. The interview is not conducted for this post. The final is done based on the Mains exam.
The increment offered to IBPS Clerk exam is done based on performance. This is decided by the Pay Commission. Candidates are also given various benefits as part of their salary.
The role of IBPS comes to end after the provisional allotment. The offer of appointment is done by the bank/organisation to which candidates has been provisionally allotted.
