RRB NTPC Normalisation of Marks
Candidates for various stages are shortlisted based on the normalised marks obtained by them in CBT. The normalisation process is followed since the CBT is conducted in multiple sessions. The normalisation is done for first stage CBT, second stage CBT and CBAT. This process is done to adjust the difficulty level of question papers across different sessions. RRBs had revised the normalisation process. The marks obtained in the exam are calculated on the basis of an average score of the top one per cent of the candidates, considering all shifts. The marks are calculated up to five decimal places.
