SSC MTS Syllabus 2025: Paper 1 Syllabus PDF Download

The Staff Selection Commission added various topics in the arithmetic section and added Comprehension in the English section. The Commission also revised the marking structure of the SSC MTS paper 1 and removed the negative marking from the Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving section. The number of questions was also changed for the Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving section. The SSC MTS paper 1 is conducted online as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE) and the candidates need to check all the details about the exam in the official notification.

SSC MTS Paper 1 Syllabus for Numerical and Mathematical Ability 

Questions asked in the Numerical Aptitude section are simple and of Class 10 level. Topics from which questions are asked in this section include:

SSC MTS Paper 1 Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving Syllabus

The Commission changed the names of the sections to include more topics for the exam. General Intelligence and Reasoning in now Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. The syllabus topics as mentioned in the official syllabus is given below:

This section was almost changed and made more comprehensive. The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability.

SSC MTS Paper 1 General Awareness Syllabus

The candidates need to check the details of the SSC general awareness topics as mentioned in the official notification. Questions are also designed to test a candidate’s knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects. The section will include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries pertaining to the following:
