SSC MTS 2025: Revised Vacancies OUT, Exam Date, City Slip, Syllabus, Pattern, Answer Key

The Staff Selection Commission has increased the SSC MTS 2025 vacancies from 5464 to 7948. The Commission released a notice at ssc.gov.in to notify such increase. SSC Increased the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff & Havaldar Vacancies : The Staff Selection Commission has released a notice at ssc.gov.in stating that the increase in SSC MTS & Havaldar 2025 vacancies from 5464 to 7948. The Commission is also expected to release the SSC MTS 2025 exam calendar to notify the dates for Computer-Based Test (CBT). The candidates can anticipate the release date for City Intimation Slip because it will released a week before the exam start date.

The Commission will release the SSC MTS 2025 admit card only three days before the exam. The Tier 1 exam is expected in December 2025/January 2026. The candidates will be required to check their SSC MTS exam dates by logging in with their SSC OTR number and password. The Commission will conduct the SSC MTS exam on multiple days and in multiple shifts. The SSC MTS 2025 application status will inform the candidates about three below given things

SSC MTS 2025 Eligibility

The Staff Selection Commission mentioned all the eligibility conditions in the notification. The Commission notified the educational qualification, age limit, age relaxation and other rules which will be compulsory for the candidates to fulfil.

SSC MTS 2025 Educational Qualification 

The candidates must fulfil the educational qualifications required to apply online for the exam. The candidates must have passed the Matriculation exam from a recognised board. The candidates must have acquired the required educational qualification on or before the last date for SSC MTS applications.

SSC MTS 2025 Age Limit

The Staff Selection Commission mentioned the SSC MTS age limit in the notification. The Commissionalso mentioned the lower and upper age limit for all the categories of candidates. SSC MTS 2025 Application Form

The Staff Selection Commission activated the SSC MTS 2025 application link with the release of the notification. The candidates are required to read the notification to get all the details about the eligibility and the application form. The last date to apply online for the SSC MTS 2025 exam was July 24, 2025. The last date for the SSC MTS application correction is now August 6, 2025.

How to Apply for the SSC MTS 2025 Exam?

The candidates can see below the steps to fill out the SSC MTS 2025 application form.

Login with the SSC OTR number at the website - ssc.gov.in.

The successfully registered candidates will be redirected to the SSC MTS online applications after successful login. Thereafter, candidates could follow the below-mentioned steps to fill the SSC MTS and Havaldar application form 2025:

• Click on the Apply button
• Fill in all details asked in the application form, such as Educational Qualification, Category and Three preferences for the exam centre.
• Click on the declaration at the end of the page

• Verify all the details provided in the online form
• Click on the Submit button

The photo uploading has been replaced by the live photo capturing of the candidate.

The candidates should note that the Staff Selection Commission changed the SSC MTS application process and added live photo capturing. They were required to sit in front of the camera and take a live picture during the application filling process.

SSC MTS 2025 2025 Application Fee

SSC MTS 2025 Syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission mentioned the syllabus in the notification. The candidates are advised to prepare all the topics notified in the exam syllabus. The General Awareness topics are mentioned below:

SSC MTS 2025 Exam Pattern

SSC MTS 2025 Admit Card

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS admit card 2025 online only on ssc.gov.in. The SSC MTS 2025 call letter will not be released on the regional websites. Before the release of the SSC MTS admit card, the Commission will release the SSC MTS application status to inform the candidates about their SSC MTS exam date.

SSC MTS 2025 Answer Key

The SSC MTS answer key 2025 will be released four to five days after the completion of the exam. The Staff Selection Commission will also release the candidate’s response sheet with the answer key. The Commission will also ask the candidates to send a representation against the incorrect answers given in the SSC MTS answer key.

SSC MTS 2025 Result

Paper 1 of the SSC MTS exam will end in January 2026. The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS result 2025 in two parts. The Commission will release the list of selected candidates for the SSC MTS Havaldar Physical Efficiency Test(PET) and Physical Standard Test(PST). After the SSC MTS Physical and Medical test, the Commission will release the final SSC MTS Result.

The Commission will release the state-wise, force-wise and gender-wise results 2025 for the written paper. The SSC MTS final result will mention the names, parents' names and the rank of the candidate in the merit list.

SSC MTS 2025 Cutoff

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC MTS 2025 cutoff for all the candidates who appeared in the exam. The Commission will release the state-wise and force-wise Cutoff for the Physical Efficiency Test(PET)/Physical Standard Test(PST). The Commission mention different cutoffs for different categories. SSC MTS 2025 Exam Centre

The candidates should note that the SSC MTS exam is conducted pan-India, and the candidates will be allotted the exam centre nearest to their place of residence. The Staff Selection Commission will allot the SSC MTS exam centre as per the choice made by the candidates in their SSC MTS application form. The candidates will be required to opt for the SSC MTS exam centre.
