UGC NET Exam Date 2025: Complete Dec Exam Schedule, Notification Dates Here

The application for the UGC NET 2025 Dec session will be released on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The candidates will be allowed to apply for the UGC NET exam by following the steps below:

1. Visit the website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in/ugcnet.nta.ac.in

2. Click on the 'Application form for UGC NET 2025 Dec cycle' link

3. Click on the 'New Registration'

4. Enter the required details and complete the registration

5. Fill out the complete application form

6. Pay the application fee for the UGC NET exam

7. Review and download the application form for the UGC NET exam for future use

The candidates who are going to appear for the UGC NET exam must go through the eligibility criteria for the UGC NET/JRF exam. The eligibility criteria for UGC NET have been divided into two categories- Age limit criteria and Educational Qualification. The UGC NET eligibility criteria have been discussed below for the candidates in the article 

UGC NET Age Limit Criteria 

There is no age limit to appear for the UGC NET exam but the candidates must be less than equal to 30 years from the release of the application form date for being eligible for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship)

UGC NET Educational Qualification 

The educational qualification to appear for UGC NET/ JRF or NTA NET/JRF has been given below for the candidates who are willing to appear for the UGC NET exam:

• Candidates must have secured 55 per cent (without rounding off) in their post-graduation to appear for the UGC NET exam
• Candidates appearing for the final year/semester of post-graduation can also apply for the UGC NET exam

UGC NET Age Relaxation Criteria

The candidates are given age relaxation for the UGC NET exam on the basis of age relaxation norms set by the Indian government. The age relaxation conditions are given below for the candidates: OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Women/Third Gender are given relaxation for up to 5 years  LLM Candidates are given relaxation of up to 5 years  Research Scholars are given up to 5 years of age relaxation based on the time span spent in research  The candidates from the armed forces are given age relaxation of upto 5 years based on the time period spent in the defence

UGC NET 2025 Dec Schedule Shift-Wise

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET 2025 Exam Schedule for the Dec session on th official website. Till then, candidates can check below the UGC NET 2025 June shift-wise exam schedule.

The UGC NET 2025 Certificate for the Dec exam will be released on the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The candidates will be able to download the UGC NET certificate by following the steps given below:

• Go to the UGC NET offcial website 
• Click on the UGC NET certificate link 
• Fill out the login credentials
• Fill out the security pin 
• Click on the submit button 
• Download the UGC NET e certificate and save it for later use

The UGC NET Dec exam 2025 will be conducted in two shifts. UGC NET Dec Shift 1 will start from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the shift 2 exam will begin from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the candidates must report to the UGC NET exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closing time. 

• UGC NET Shift 1 Timing: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm 
• UGC NET Shift 2 Timing: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET admit card for the Dec session on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in for all exam dates. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by following the steps given below:

1. Go to the official website 

2. Click on the admit card link for the UGC NET exam 

3. Enter the details like application number, date of birth, etc. on the login page 

4. Click on the submit button 

5. The admit card will appear on the screen 

6. Download the admit card and save it for later use
