To participate in the CAP round of MAH HM CET 2026, candidates have to complete the online registration process on the official counselling portal. MAH HM CET CAP Round Process 2026
The MAH HM CET CAP round 2026 includes online registration, document verification, merit list publication, choice filling, seat allotment and admission confirmation. Check the complete counselling process below.
Stage 1: MAH HM CET CAP Registration and Document Verification
The counselling registration process is conducted online. Candidates have to register on the official website, fill the CAP application form, upload the required documents and pay the counselling fee. After submitting the application form, candidates have to report to the Admission Facilitation Centre (AFC) with original documents and photocopies for document verification. Candidates who fail to complete document verification will not be considered for admission.

Stage 2: Release of Provisional Merit List
After completion of registration and document verification, the State CET Cell releases the provisional merit list. Candidates can check their merit status online. If there is any error in the merit list, candidates can submit grievances within the specified dates along with supporting documents. After verification of grievances, the authorities prepare the final merit list.
Stage 3: Release of Final Merit List
The final merit list is published on the official website after resolving all objections. Only candidates included in the final merit list become eligible to participate in the CAP seat allotment process.
Stage 4: Choice Filling and Option Form Submission
Candidates have to fill their preferred hotel management colleges and courses in order of preference. It is advisable to fill as many choices as possible to improve the chances of seat allotment.

Stage 6: Seat Acceptance and Reporting
Candidates who receive a seat allotment have to accept the allotted seat within the given deadline. After accepting the seat, candidates must report to the allotted institute with the required original documents and complete the admission formalities by paying the admission fee. Failure to report within the prescribed time may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
