MAH HM CET Counselling and CAP Round Process 2026: Step-by-Step Guide

The MAH HM CET CAP 2026 registration dates have been announced by the State CET Cell. Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam can register for the MAH HM CET counselling 2026 from July 2 to July 12, 2026. The document verification process will be conducted from July 3 to July 13, 2026.

How to Register for MAH HM CET CAP 2026?

To participate in the CAP round of MAH HM CET 2026, candidates have to complete the online registration process on the official counselling portal. During registration, candidates are required to provide their personal, academic and category details, upload documents and complete document verification. Given below are the steps to register for MAH HM CET counselling 2026:

• Open the official website of MAH HM CET CAP 2026.

• Click on 'New Candidate Registration'.

• Enter your full name, country, mobile number, email ID and create a password.

• Verify your registration using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

• Log in using the application ID and password.

• Select the candidature type.

• Fill category and reservation details.

• Enter qualification details such as Class 10, Class 12 and graduation (if applicable).

• Fill personal details including address, annual family income and contact information.

Stage 1: MAH HM CET CAP Registration and Document Verification

The counselling registration process is conducted online. Candidates have to register on the official website, fill the CAP application form, upload the required documents and pay the counselling fee. After submitting the application form, candidates have to report to the Admission Facilitation Centre (AFC) with original documents and photocopies for document verification. Candidates who fail to complete document verification will not be considered for admission.

Stage 2: Release of Provisional Merit List

After completion of registration and document verification, the State CET Cell releases the provisional merit list. Candidates can check their merit status online. If there is any error in the merit list, candidates can submit grievances within the specified dates along with supporting documents. After verification of grievances, the authorities prepare the final merit list.

Stage 3: Release of Final Merit List

The final merit list is published on the official website after resolving all objections. Only candidates included in the final merit list become eligible to participate in the CAP seat allotment process.

Stage 4: Choice Filling and Option Form Submission

Candidates have to fill their preferred hotel management colleges and courses in order of preference. It is advisable to fill as many choices as possible to improve the chances of seat allotment.

Failure to report within the prescribed time may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
