The National Testing Agency conducted NCHMCT JEE 2021 on August 10. The exam was conducted in remote proctored mode and here is what the students have to say about the exam.
Now that NCHMCT JEE 2021 exam is over, Shiksha.com got in touch with some of the candidates who took the exam today. Here is a detailed NCHMCT JEE 2021 student reaction and review. NTA conducted the national level entrance exam from 2 pm to 5 pm on August 10.
As per the candidates, the online exam could not be conducted smoothly. There were problems with login and the candidates who could login were unable to complete the test, as the online exam stopped in the middle. However, many students could complete the exam without any glitches. Students were able to attempt 180-190 questions correctly. Most students found the exam easy to moderate, and there were no changes in the exam pattern. The paper was easier than last year. Many students found Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude difficult. Some students claimed that one question from maths was incorrect.

NCHMCT JEE 2021 Online Exam Students Reaction
The issues faced by the students include:
- Many students could not login
- Many students could login but the server showed error
- The screen of the online exam froze
- Login time expired
- Screen going blank a few hours down the exam
Students claimed that despite their system specification being as per NTA’s instructions and internet speed being stable, they faced issues. Many students could not login on time and many could not complete the exam due to glitches. Students have sent the pictures of their online exam screen showing error to NTA, and are now expecting a re-exam for NCHMCT JEE 2021.
However, Shiksha also got in touch with many students who could complete the exam without any problems. Harshit Jain, one of the candidates who appeared for the exam said “many students who faced the issue with the exam, might have a poor internet connection. Also, they might have reported late for the exam. The login time was 12:30. So those who might have reported late, have faced server error.”
Overall the online mode of the exam was appreciated by many amidst the pandemic situation across the nation.

NCHMCT JEE 2021 v/s Last Year
Until last year NCHMCT JEE was held in CBT mode. However, this year NTA took the exam in online proctored mode, given the pandemic situation. The exam was overall moderate in difficulty level this year. Last year too the students found the paper moderate. However, some students felt the exam was slightly easier as compared to last year. Also like last year, this year too many students said that the Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude was difficult.
Most students could complete the exam on time in the last year. However, this year the online mode of the exam gave many students a hard time. Some could not login on time, some faced server errors and thus could not complete the paper on time.

You can apply if you passed 10+2 or similar exam. English must be there in your study. Even if you're appearing for 10+2 this year, you can apply, but final admission needs pass certificate.
