Delhi Technological University, which was formerly known with the name of Delhi College of Engineering, is one of the popular universities in India. DTU was founded in 1941. It is one of the famous Engineering universities in India and is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). DTU is ranked 27 under the category 'Engineering" as per the NIRF 2025 ranking. DTU is said to be the second oldest engineering college in India. Sushant Singh Rajput: SSR was one of the most loved Bollywood actors who started his movie journey with Kai Po Che in 2013. After that, he gave many hit films back-to-back. He studied mechanical engineering at Delhi Technological University.

R. B. Grover: Ravi B. Grover is another well-known DTU alumni. He was the first vice-chancellor and founder of Homi Bhabha National Institute. A nuclear physicist and mechanical engineer, he did his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from DTU in 1970. Later, he joined the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as staff. In 1982, he completed his PhD in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Raghbir Singh Bhola: Raghbir was an officer in the Indian Air Force and also a professional hockey player. He represented India in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. He completed his Electrical Engineering from DTU. He even captained the Indian Air Force Hockey and Services Hockey teams from 1954 to 1960. For his great contribution to sports, he received the Arjuna Award in 2000.

Vinod Dham: VD is one of the well-known Delhi Technological University alumni. He worked as an engineer, also an inventor and businessman. People know him as the “Father of the Pentium Chip” because he helped make Intel’s Pentium processor. Back in 1999, his name was included in the list of top 100 most influential Asian Americans.
