Steps to Check DU First Merit List 2025
Check the DU CSAS 1st merit list 2025 by doing the steps below
- First, go to the official DU admission website – admission.uod.ac.in.
- Then click on the candidate dashboard option.
- Now type your login details like user ID and password in the given boxes.
- Make sure all details are correct, then press login.
- After that, you can check and download the DU first allotment result 2025 easily.

DU Admissions are done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) score. Previously, DU used to admit students based on cut-off marks obtained in Class 12 exams.
In a previous notification, Delhi University has listed the documents and certificates required for admission to undergraduate courses.

Given below is the list of important documents that candidates need to produce at the college for admission. It may be noted that candidates need to carry both the original and photocopies of the documents mentioned below.

Note: The official website of Delhi University informs, “The names of applicants claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM/OBC must match with the names that appear on their corresponding School Board qualifying certificates; similarly their parents’ names must match in both sets of certificates.”

No, Delhi University offers admission to the BSc programmes at its colleges based on CUET score only. There is no provision for direct admissions. Hence, aspirants must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is conducted in different phases. Eligible students can apply on NTA website to take the test. Students seeking admission to DU colleges should select DU college plus preferred course at the time of registration.
After CUET result declaration, aspirants are required to register on DU CSAS portal. The course and college allotment process is done based on the preferences submitted by the students during the form filling. After final selections, students can pay the admission fee to confirm admission.
For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:
- Program-Specific merit
- Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
- Availability of seats
- Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi
For the academic year 2025-26, Delhi University admission will be done by CSAS portal only. If you want to take admission in DU UG courses, you must check the eligibility first before filling anything. Students who plan for Delhi University after CUET 2025 can follow these few simple steps given below.
- Go on the official DU website, that is www.admission.uod.ac.in
- After that, the eligible students have to apply online for Delhi University admission 2025.
- Then you need to fill your course and college choices for seat allotment and admission part.
- Next, you should pay the CSAS 2025 fee for UG courses. The fee is not refundable, so check things before you pay.
The CSAS process is very easy and done fully online. Just make sure you got your CUET result, documents, and login ID ready before you start the Delhi University admission form 2025.

You cannot directly take admission in BCom at Delhi University. You have to follow the process and the University will allot you college and course. For admission in Delhi University starting the academic year 2022 -2023, you have to follow the process laid by the Delhi University which is to register yourself for the CUET exam which is a common entrance exam for admission in Delhi University in undergraduate courses. Delhi University will accept applications for numerous programmes based on CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Your admission will depend on the previous Class 12 scores and the score you obtain in CUET.
There is also a fes structure developed by University which goes as follows: INR 250 rupees for General category students and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EWS. In addition, there is a cancellation fee of INR 1000 for students who wish to cancel their enrolment. After the exam, candidates must register on CSAS portal of DU. The portal will ask about the top 10 colleges you prefer. Then the CUET scores are required to be uploaded online and the portal will show you the college that you are allotted by the university. You can take that college by filling up the required fee and can also upgrade the college option you already have.
BA or BA (Hons) aspirants are required to apply for CUET UG before registering on the DU portal. After registration for the exam, candidates must pay the registration fee which is as follows:
