AP LAWCET Dates 2026: The AP LAWCET 2026 registration last date for the 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB exam has been extended to March 20, 2026. The AP LAWCET exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2026. Candidates must note that the AP LAWCET exam for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB will be conducted on the same date. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) started the AP LAWCET 2026 Registration from Feb 12 onwards. The council released the notification on the website, cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

The exam notification is released with the AP LAWCET 2026 application, starting and ending dates, and the commencement of the correction window. The AP LAWCET scores will be accepted by the participating institutes that offer admission to the five-year LLB course and three-year LLB course. Important AP LAWCET Exam Events 2026

Check the events related to AP LAWCET 2026 below. The AP LAWCET events include the details of the application form, admit card, answer key, result, and counselling.

  • AP LAWCET application form was released at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in on Feb 12.    
  • The AP LAWCET admit card includes the exam date, exam instructions, and other details. Candidates will be able to download it by logging into their registered accounts from April 20 onwards.
  • The AP LAWCET exam date is May 4. It will be held at different test centres across India. Questions on the exam will be drawn from three subjects: GK, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for Law. 
  • AP LAWCET answer key will be released after the conclusion of the exam, i.e., May 7. The exam answer key has the answers to the questions of the AP LAWCET question paper. Candidates can download the answer key from the website to check the correct answers for all questions asked in the exam.
  • The AP LAWCET result will include the overall marks of the candidates along with their qualifying status. The expected date is May 18, 2026.
  • AP LAWCET counselling registration will be conducted in online mode. Through AP LAWCET counselling, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses and colleges.

AP LAWCET Admit Card Date 2026

As per the official notification, the APLAWCET admit card will be released on April 20, 2026. The Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) hall ticket will be issued to the successfully registered candidates. It is a mandatory document that acts as proof of verification to seek entry to the examination hall. Candidates will be notified here after the release of the admit card date.

Q:   When will the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 admit card be released?

AP LAWCET admit card 2026 will be released on the website of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE): cets.apsche.gov.in. The admit card will be released in online mode only as an Andhra Pradesh LAWCET hall ticket. Candidates will have to download the admit card before the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 exam and take its multiple printouts.

They need to affix their coloured passport-size photograph to their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET hall ticket or admit card. Then, they need to carry the hall ticket to the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET exam centre. Without the hall ticket, candidates will not be allowed to appear in Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026. Moreover, they cannot show their admission card on their phone. A physical copy or printout of the hall ticket is mandatory for taking the exam.

Q:   How many marks do I need for admission to a college through AP LAWCET 2026?
A: 

There is criterion of minimum marks requirement for admission to a college through Andhra Pradesh LAWCET for candidates belonging to SC and ST categories. However, candidates of General category must score a minimum of 35% marks (42 marks out of 120 marks) to get admission to a college based on their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET scores. 

The college allotted to the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 test-taker will depend on the following factors:
