CLAT 2025 Topper Saanvi Khulbe shares her journey and strategies she applied to excel in the CLAT 2025 Exam. In an exclusive interview with Shiksha.com, Saanvi shares her challenges, insights about her routine, and advice for future CLAT aspirants. Q. What was your preparation strategy for CLAT, and how did you balance school studies with your law entrance exam preparation?

Honestly, CLAT was my priority, so I focused entirely on it. I ensured I was consistent with mocks, revision, and practice. I managed my time effectively by setting clear priorities, dedicating focused hours to CLAT preparation, and staying attentive in school to keep up with my studies for board exams. It was all about maintaining balance and consistency to achieve my goals.

Q. Which books, online platforms, or coaching institutes did you rely on, and what role did they play in your success?

I relied on study materials for my CLAT preparation that was precise, easy to understand, and well-aligned with the CLAT exam pattern. The mock tests, combined with detailed analysis sessions, helped me identify and improve my weak areas.

Q. Can you share your daily schedule during the final months of preparation, and how did you maintain consistency?

I set daily targets and ensured that I finished a certain set of tasks I had planned on doing, like mock analysis, solving sectional tests, revising current affairs and practicing QT and other reading sections. Consistency was key - I followed a routine and tracked my progress daily to stay motivated.

Q. What challenges did you face during your CLAT preparation journey, and how did you overcome them?

One big challenge was staying calm during low-scoring mocks. It was tough, but I reminded myself that every mock was a learning opportunity. Focusing on incremental improvement helped me overcome this hurdle.

Q. What tips or advice would you give to future CLAT aspirants to help them achieve their goals?

- Take mocks regularly and analyze them thoroughly. 

- Practice all sections of the exam, don't neglect any topics and work on your weak areas.

- Stay consistent. Small efforts every day make a big difference. 

- Lastly, don’t let setbacks demotivate you; the actual exam will be your best performance if you stay calm and confident in your preparation.

Q. Why were you interested in studying law and how do you want to take your career ahead in the future?

I have always been drawn to the power of law in shaping society and ensuring justice. I wish to utilise all that I learn about the law to drive meaningful change and make an impact.

Q. Please tell us in brief about your family and educational background.

I come from a close-knit family that has been incredibly supportive throughout my journey. I am a Class 12 CBSE student at Manav Rachna International School, Sector 46, with a humanities background. My family’s encouragement, combined with my school’s support and belief in my dreams, has been my greatest strength.

Yes, you can join the BBA LLB programme in Amrita International School of Law without CLAT exam. If you have a valid AILET score, you can submit it for admission. Else you can appear for Amrita Law Admission Test (AmLAT).

No, CLAT is not compulsory to take admission in Ishaan Institute of Law. The institute offers admission into the courses such as LLB, BA LLB and LLM based on the merit achieved by the candidates in their last qualifying exam. Application process is compulsory and it can be conducted online/offline.

The charges for CLAT registration are 4000 Rs. for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates. While its Rs. 3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates. Candidates have options like UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card & Net Banking when it comes to paying for the same.

Based on recent CLAT analyses, the English Language and General Knowledge & Current Affairs sections were rated as the easiest. English is more about reading comprehension with direct questions. GK is highly scoring for those with consistent, up-to-date daily news preparation.
