TS PGLCET Counselling 2025: Web Options, Seat Allotment, Admission Procedure

Once, the counselling window is opened by TSCHE and the schedule is published, the candidates have to participate in the counselling as under:

Step 1: Document Verification 

First, the candidates have to visit the allotted counselling centres for certificate verification as per the schedule for their ranks. They should carry the original as well as copies of their certificates (listed below). After the officials have verified the certificates, they will issue a ‘Receipt of Certificate’ to the candidates.

Step 2: Web-Option Entry 

After the document verification process is complete, candidates have to exercise the option entry process for selecting the law colleges from the list.

• Candidates need to verify their mobile number, caste category, local area, gender, minority, parental income, special category, date of birth, eligible degree, specialization and other details as printed on receipt of certificates for web-counselling.
• They need to log in with their TS PGLCET hall ticket number and rank (the internet facility for web-counselling will also be available at the counselling centres), an OTP will be sent on the registered number of the candidates, enter the same to verify it.
• On login, the candidates will find a list of colleges as per their course
• They have to select the colleges in order of preference from most to least preferred using Add, Delete and Modify buttons
• Once done, save the choices and wait for provisional allotment letter based on rank list and preferences 
• Download the provisional letter and if accepting the seat then report to the allotted college for completing admission formalities
• If not accepting the seat then exercise float option and participate in the second round as per the instructions

Step 3: Reporting to the allotted colleges 

Candidates have to report at their allotted colleges before the last date mentioned in their provisional seat allotment letter and along with the original documents as mentioned below.

Candidates appearing for document verification after seat allotment need to bring following documents:

1. TS PGLCET 2025 Rank Card/ Hard Copy of result
2. TS PGLCET 2025 Admit Card/ Hall Ticket
3. SSC or equivalent mark sheet
4. Intermediate or equivalent mark sheet
5. Qualifying Examination mark sheet
6. Provisional/Degree Certificate of Qualifying Examination if completed degree
7. Local or Non Local residence proof
8. Community or Caste Certificate
9. Transfer or Migration Certificate
10. Income Certificate of parents
11. Sports/PH/NCC/CAP Certificate if applicable

After the first round, following candidates can participate in this counselling round: 

• Candidates who have secured a seat in the first round, however, now want to change their allotted college.
• Candidates who participated in the phase I counselling, however, could not secure a seat.
• The rank holders who did not participate in the first round even though they have been called for the counselling process.
• The candidates who were allotted a seat but could not or did not report to their allotted colleges.
• The candidates who have cancelled their seat in the phase I allotment round. 

Important Instructions for Phase II 

1. The candidates participating in the second round have to lock their choice of colleges as fresh option entry even if they have participated in phase I of counselling.
2. Candidates can select college and courses even if no vacancy is shown, as the vacancy can arise from withdrawal or cancellation by the candidates.
3. The candidates who have confirmed their seat allotment in the first round reported to their colleges and are satisfied with their college allotment need not participate in the second round. 
4. Candidates will lose claim over the seat allotted in phase I if they participate and confirm admission in the second phase of seat allotment.
5. To cancel seat allotted in the second phase, candidates have to contact the principal of the allotted college only.
