The TGCHE will conduct the TS LAWCET exam 2026 tentatively in June 2026. The exam will be conducted for admission to the undergraduate Law courses. The candidates who pass the exam will be able to get a seat at the colleges accepting these scores. Candidates must begin their preparation with reading the exam pattern. To prepare for the exam, candidates must solve as many sample papers as they can. Aspirants must also go through the syllabus as released by the examination cell. Solving mock tests is another way to ace the exam.

TS LAWCET Exam Pattern 2026

Before starting the preparation of TS LAWCET 2026, candidates must check the exam pattern as under-

Exam mode - The TS LAWCET exam will be conducted in an online mode. 

Test medium - The question paper will be available in English and Telugu medium. 

Exam timings - The exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 4 pm (subject to change). 

Type of questions - There will be objective-type questions i.e., each question will carry four options. 

Total questions - There will be a total of 120 questions divided into three sections.

Total marks - There will be a total of  120 marks.

TS LAWCET 2026 Preparation Tips

To prepare for TS LAWCET, candidates should adopt the strategy as given below-

Create a Preparation Plan- Candidates should create a preparation plan as under-

  • Analyse days remaining for the examination, and syllabus to be covered from each subject
  • Now, create a week-wise plan with a focus on each subject 
  • Schedule hours of the day for exam preparation 
  • The exam preparation plan must include breaks of short duration
  • Keep the first 5-6 days to understand the concepts from each subject
  • In the last 15 days, schedule revision of all the subjects properly

Get Preparation Material- Candidates should get all the required study material including books and question papers. They should follow the tips as under-

  • Understand the concepts and ensure to create notes for the same
  • Get preparation books as recommended by experts for each topic 
  • Gather the mock tests for each subject 
  • Also, practice the previous year question papers to get an idea about the exact question paper

Revision Plan- Candidates should revise the concepts in the remaining days for concept clarity and memorise the concepts.
