To get the Telangana (TG) LAWCET 2026 application form, go to the official site lawcet.tgche.ac.in. You can only apply online, no offline way is there. First, pay the fee, then fill the form and upload the needed documents. Make sure all details are right before you press submit.

Eligibility for TS LAWCET 2026 needs Indian citizenship. The education rules change based on the course you choose. For the LLB course, you must pass 12th class with at least 45% marks for General, 42% for OBC, and 40% for SC or ST category. There is no age limit for applying to TS LAWCET 2026 exam.

To be eligible to appear for the TS LAWCET exam, there is no UPPER Age limit. However, for the 3-year LLB course, the candidate must have cleared graduation or must be in the final year of graduation. 

The minimum qualification for TS LAWCET in Telangana changes with the course you pick. If you want the 3-year LLB course, you must complete any graduation from a recognised college. For the 5-year LLB course, you should pass 12th class or Intermediate. You also need the minimum marks required under TS LAWCET eligibility rules.

The law exam for 2026 in Telangana is TS LAWCET 2026. It's a state level entrance test for students who want to study law after school or degree. You can apply for 3-year or 5-year LLB courses in many law colleges across Telangana. TS LAWCET exam is managed by Osmania University for TSCHE every year.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) provides candidates with an opportunity to change their test centre preferences and correct details on their exam application form during the application correction window. The date for the application correction window is announced with the TS LAWCET Notification. Thus, candidates need to visit the official website and refer to the notification to check all the details related to the TS LAWCET application correction window. The TS LAWCET 2026 exam will be held on May 18, 2026. Candidates can find the exam timing for TS LAWCET 2026 on their admit card. Every year, the TS LAWCET exam is conducted in multiple sessions. Thus, TS LAWCET 2026 will also be conducted in sessions on the exam date decided by the Telangana State Higher Education Council (TGCHE). 

TSLAWCET exam 2026 is held by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education.

The last date to fill out the TS LAWCET 2026 registration is April 1 without the late fee. 

The TS LAWCET General Knowledge and Mental Ability syllabus includes the following subjects.

There are a total of 120 questions in the TS LAWCET question paper. Following is the segregation of marks for each section:

• General Knowledge & Mental Ability: 30 questions
• Current Affairs: 30 questions
• Aptitude for the Study of Law: 60 questions

The Aptitude for the Study of Law is the most important section of the TS LAWCET exam because majority of the questions are asked in this section and it carries a weightage of equal to 60 marks out 120 marks.

The TSLAWCET 2026 marking scheme is-

The TS LAWCET exam does not have any sectional time limit. Candidates get a total duration of 90 minutes (1 hour 30 minutes) to attempt all questions across the three sections: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law. You can move freely between sections and answer questions in any order within the overall time.

• There is no negative marking.
• Therefore, the maximum possible score you can achieve is 120 marks (1 mark x 120 questions).

• Unattempted questions: 0 marks

Candidates planning to appear for the TSLAWCET 2026 exam must start their preparation at least 6 months prior.

To prepare for TSLAWCET 2026, candidates must focus on learning regularly, attempt mock test, and solve previous year papers.

In TGCHE LAWCET 2026 exam, the questions will be asked from GK, Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Legal Aptitude. Questions from History, Geography, Economics, Logical Reasoning, and Environmental Science will be asked.

Candidate can attempt the TSLAWCET Mock test through these steps

• Go to the lawcet.tgche.ac.in 
• Click on the TG LAWCET 2026 tab. 
• A new page will open.
• Click on the Mock Test tab.
• You will find an auto-filled log in ID and password, and you only need to click on the “Sign In” button to start the mock test.

If you can not download the TS LAWCET admit card, check the following: the internet connection is working and stable. If your internet connection is not working and is unstable, you will not be able to download your admit card. Make sure you enter your registration number, qualifying exam hall ticket number, and date of birth correctly. If you are not able to download the TS LAWCET hall ticket through a particular device, you need to use another device to do so. If you fail to download the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET hall ticket event after using the methods, you need to contact the Telangana State Admission Council (TSCHE) by phone or by email. The email address and phone number of the helpdesk can be found on the official website of APSCHE.

To download the TS LAWCET admit card or hall ticket, TS LAWCET applicants need their TS LAWCET registration number, hall ticket number of their qualifying exam and date of birth. After enetering these details, you need to click on "Download Hallticket" button. 

Once you are done with the TS LAWCET hall ticket, you need to create its multiple printouts for the following reasons: 

• To appear in the TS LAWCET entrance exam
• For admission to a college accepting TS LAWCET through TS LAWCET counselling.

Candidates can access their TG LAWCET admit card through the official website of the TGCHE. Once the admit cards are released, the link to download the hall ticket will be activated and candidates will have to enter their registration number and date of birth to download the same. After downloading, make sure the details mentioned on the admit card are correct and no discrepancy is there.

The details mentioned on TS LAWCET admit card should be error free. It will include the name and exam centre details. Without the halltickets, entry will not be allowed to exam hall.

The TS LAWCET preliminary key is a set of answers that give answers to the questions in the TS LAWCET question paper for a particular. The preliminary answer key is based on the initial evaluation of the question paper by the exam authority. The preliminary answer key can be challenged by candidates if they think that the answer to a particular question is wrong.

Whereas, the TS LAWCET final answer key is the authoritative set of answers released by the exam authority, Osmania University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), for the TS LAWCET exam. It represents the final decisions on the correct answers for all the questions that appeared on the test.
 
 

To download the TS LAWCET answer key, candidates will need application number, date of birth and hall ticket number.

The provisional answer key will be released on May 23. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections until May 25. 

The TS LAWCET/ PGLCET final answer key will be released after considering the objections raised by the candidates on the provisional answer key. Along with that, the result will also be released. 

The TS LAWCET 2026 result will be announced on June 5.

The TS LAWCET qualifying criteria refer to the category-wise minimum marks required to pass the exam. There are no qualifying marks for the SC and ST category candidates. However, General candidate need 35% marks.

The TS LAWCET result is based on the marking scheme issued by the officials. One mark is awarded for each correct answer. There's no negative marking for incorrect attempts.

The TS LAWCET counselling schedule will be released through the official TSCHE Portal - lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET counselling is the procedure by which qualifying students are admitted to various law programmes offered by Telangana universities and colleges based on their ranking and college preferences. 

To know the TSLAWCET counselling dates, visit the TGCHE website. The detailed schedule for the counselling will be available there. Do not forget to register online for participating.

TGCHE will release the TS LAWCET seat allotment list after the results. The TS LAWCET 2026 first seat allotment list is expected to be released in August on the TGCHE official website. Candidates whose names will appear in the list will then have to appear and report to the allotted college as per the official schedule. Candidates will be required to carry the important documents for verification and confirmation of their seats. 

After the TS LAWCET seat allotment list is released, candidates whose names appear in the seat allotment list will have to report to the assigned college for verification of original certificate and tution fee receipt. Candidates will have to confirm their seat if they are satisfied with the seat allotment.  

No, there is no need to send the application form by post once it is submitted online.

The TS LAWCET correction window is activated to correct the wrong information filled by the students in the TS LAWCET application form. Here, candidates need to know that they cannot correct all the details they filled out in the application form. Only specific details can be corrected. These details are the following:

• TS LAWCET branch change  
• Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name, Date of Birth (as per SSC or Equivalent)
• Intermediate/Class 12th Hall Ticket Number
• Signature
• Photograph
• Qualifying Hall Ticket Number (Diploma/Degree)

The TS LAWCET LLM exam is called the TS PGLCET. The TS PGLCET eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Following is the TS LAWCET eligibility criteria -

• Candidates should have passed garduation in a (10+2+3) format .
• Candidates who are appearing in the graduation final year are eligible.
• There is no upper age limit

The TGCHE admission cell releases a list of candidates whose application for TSLAWCET counselling is verified and approved. These candidates can further participate in the web-options exercise to choose their preferred college for admission. The candidates whose names does not appear in the verified candidate's list will then have to upload the documents required within the deadline to verify get their candidature verified. 

During the web-option exercise, candidates eligible to participate in the counselling and whose documents are verified will have to select the college of their preferences online. The list of colleges accepting the students for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-Year LLB is released by the TS LAWCET admission cell on the official website. The candidates can select atleast three colleges for their admission during the TS LAWCET web -option exercise.
