There are cases where the merit score of two test-takers are similar. To allot a rank, KEA has laid down the following tie-breaking process. Method for inter-se merit of Karnataka PGCET 2025 is mentioned below:

  • In the case where two or more candidates secure the same merit, then the Karnataka PGCET inter se merit is determined with reference to the total aggregate marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
  • In the case where marks obtained are equal, the inter-se-merit is determined based on the age of the candidates. Older candidates are preferred over younger ones.
