Karnataka PGCET 2026: One Month Preparation Tips

With a capping of one month, candidates planning to ace the exam must think twice before taking a step forward with their preparation. Here are some tips to help candidates keep their preparation effective and efficient.

Karnataka PGCET One Month Preparation: Know Exam Details

The first step must require the candidates to know the important exam details, such as the Karnataka PGCET exam pattern and syllabus. The exam is offline, with 100 questions to be answered within 120 minutes. All questions in the Karnataka PGCET 2026 will be objective, fetching one mark for every correct response. All four sections of the exam has 25 questions each. No sectional time limit and negative marking will help candidates while taking the exam.

Take Karnataka PGCET Mock Test Before Planning to Prepare

Candidates with one month to prepare for Karnataka PGCET must take a mock test before they decide to allocate time to study topics from four sections. Taking one full-length exam will help candidates evaluate where they stand. Additionally, candidates will come across difficulty standards and weightage. Taking the mock tests before planning will help in the following ways:

  • Know which section of Karnataka PGCET requires more attention
  • Candidates will know the difficulty level of the Karnataka PGCET exam

Plan How to Study in Limited Time

Once the candidates know which section requires more attention, they can allocate the number of days to each section. As discussed, one must keep 20 days to study for all four sections collectively. Allocation of 20 days to four sections must be done as follows:

  • Seven days for the most difficult section
  • Five days each for two sections with moderate difficulty standards
  • Three days for the easiest section

Candidates must not ask people for the easiest or the toughest section. Each section can be easy and difficult for two different test takers. Therefore, candidates must take a mock test as discussed in the previous step to check what suits best for them.
