Q:   What is the difficulty level of TISSNET English proficiency section?

As per the TISSNET 2023 analysis, TISSNET English Proficiency section consisted of 30 questions similar to last year. This section was dominated by Fill in the Blanks questions. There were no questions from Analogy, Onw Word Substitution and Idioms. The questions were easy from two Para jumbles. Tjis section also consisted of two reading comprehensions which were a mix of factual and inferential questions. The questions were easy to attempt hence, candidates must have got most of questions answered correct. 20-22 marks in this section was a good score. This section covered the questions from the following areas: Para jumbles, Fill in the Blanks, Summary, Spot the Errors, Synonyms, and Reading Comprehension.

Q:   Is TISSNET MBA difficult?


The difficulty level of TISSNET for an individual can vary widely based on their preparation, background, and familiarity with the exam's content. Overall thge exam difficulty level is moderate to high. To excel in the TISSNET exam, focus on a few key strategies:

Q:   What is format of TISSNET question paper?


TISSNET is a computer based test. The question paper of TISSNET consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The TISSNET question paper is divided into three sections viz., English proficiency, Mathematical and Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. The question paper will consist of total 100 objective type questions. Candidates will have to attempt the question within the given time duration. Q:   What is the TISSNET 2024 exam date?

TISS National Entrance Test TISSNET 2024 will be conducted tentatively in last week of February 2024. Candidates preparing for the TISSNET exam must ensure to fill the application form when released. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of the application fee will be able to appear for the TISSNET exam. TISSNET exam is conducted in offline mode across 40 exam cities in India. Candidates will be alloted the exam centre on the basis of the preferences added in the application form. On the release of the admit card, candidates can check the alloted exam centre. The exam will be conducted for a duration of 100 minutes (one hour 40 minutes). Candidates must attempt 100 multiple choice questions within the given time duration. Candidates will not be given extra time under any circumstances.

TISSNET mock test is released soon after the release of notification. Candidates preparing for the TISSNET exam must appear for the mock test to assess their preparation levels. To appear for the TISSNET mock test candidates must follow the steps mentioned: Step 1- Visit the official website of TISS (admissions (dot)tiss (dot)edu) Step 2- Click on TISSNET tab Step 3- Screen will now display the details about the PG entrance test Step 4- Click on the tab displaying TISSNET Mock Test 2024' Step 5- Enter the TISSNET login credentials created at the time of registration Step 6- The screen will now display the general instructions to take TISSNET mock test and the steps to navigate Step 7- Next screen will display the exam pattern and important instructions for exam Step 8- After reading important instructions, proceed to take the mock test Step 9- The timer starts to take the mock test. Attempt maximum questions within the given time limit. Step 10- Access the performance and preparation level on the basis of the score calculated.

Q:   How can I crack TISSNET in 3 months?

TISSNET exam is conducted in last week of February. Therefore, candidates planning to crack TISSNET in three months must begin their preparation in November. To crack the TISSNET exam in three months, here are key tips and tricks for preparation: Strengthen key concepts: It is a crucial step to TISSNET preparation. Basics are an integral part of solving questions. When preparing for Mathematics, candidates must know the formulas and theorems to solve the questions. While preparing for English candidates must focus on reading newspapers and improving their grammar. Candidates preparing for other MBA entrance exams will be able to cover the syllabus in three months. Device preparation strategy: Candidates must devise an effective preparation strategy as per the days left for the examination. Candidates must decide upon the time to be devoted to each section. Study material: Books are the best source for exam preparation. Candidates studying from a bunch of books is not the right decision. TISS National Entrance Test is conducted at the University level for admission to Masters (Master of Arts / Master of Science / B.Ed-MEd Integrated ) Programmes of TISS campuses, whereas, CAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by Iims for admission to Iims and other top B-schools across India. The difficulty level of the CAT is relatively higher than the TISSNET exam. Here are the key tips to synchronize the CAT and TISSNET exam preparation: 1. CAT and TISSNET exam syllabus is divided into three sections. Except for General Awareness in TISSNET. Other sections are similar in both exams. Candidates can devise a preparation strategy for both exams simultaneously. 2. The CAT exam is conducted in November, whereas the TISSNET exam is conducted later in February. Candidates must focus on CAT preparation first, as the exam will have a sectional time limit along with the negative marking scheme, hence time management in CAT becomes important. Whereas, in TISSNET there is no sectional time limit and provision for negative marking. 3. Candidates must ensure to solve the previous year's question papers to become familiar with the CAT and TISSNET exam pattern.
